We used these cables to run in-wall HD A/V to our over the fireplace TV. THey were durable during the installation process and are working great now that they're sealed in.

In today's market, you can find cheap HDMI cables for a fraction of the cost of this.

I bought these to connect a Denon receiver to a Sony 3D projector when I was building my home theater. I wanted to to use good cables given these were going through the walls and I didn't want to have anything go wrong.

I haven't hooked up any cheaper cables for an apples to apples comparison, but the image quality is great!

You wouldn't want to waste money on these to hook up your kids 19" Symphonic TV the bedroom. If you are not building a high end theater, skip these cables. Especially if it will be run outside the walls. You can always get something much cheaper and replace it if you have a problem.
