bought this cam to use as a video device on the job. I use it to take video both inside vehicles and outside on a ATV forklift. So far it is as described by seller except for the motion detection which it does not have. would recommend this unit to anyone wanting a vehicle DVR for accident recording at a cheap price.
It is easy to set-up and install. The suction cup mount and camera pivot joints let you point and capture a wide variety of angles. The screen flips down and rotates to make pointing easy, and flips up to make the device a bit more discrete and a lot less distracting while driving. The cameras capture a decent quality of video and the device let's you choose between two resolutions. It has captured a bit over 18 hours on a 32 GB card in the low resolution / maximum recording length mode. MJPG (motion JPEG) AVI files can be easily viewed or manipulated in windows.
The night vision lamps do help a little, but they do best when lighting up subjects within a few feet of the lens.
Be sure to take the protective plastic off of the lens on some units, the red pull tab for the protective plastic was hidden or folded inside the camera housing.
Highly recommended for anybody who wants to keep the cameras rolling to capture those crazy flukes that sometimes happen on epic road trips...

I rated this product with five stars because this DVR dash cam is a great product at an excellent low value.Recording fills up the memory card and then loops only able to record for a few minutes...
