First off the low price for this item is a steal. Normally getting a separate MHL adapter, HDMI cable, and a micro-usb charger cost more and is much less convenient. I travel quite a bit for work, so bringing just one cable rather then having to remember my MHL adapter and HDMI cables. Regardless I have to bring my micro-usb charger for my cell phone.

Don't listen to the other low rated reviews. They're complaining about the USB that needs to be plugged in. Any phone that uses this type of micro-usb to HDMI requires an external power source. Even the OEM MHL adapters requires this. Plugging the USB into the TV for power is rather convenient, but the TV usually doesn't give that much power, so there's a chance your cell phone will actually draw more power then it's being charged. I suggest if you have an outlet open to use the USB to wall chargers.

Devices tested: Samsung Galaxy S 2 (T-Mobile), HTC Sensation, and Samsung Galaxy Note (I use the Note the most)

Great product. Hooked it up, and worked like a charm! Now we watch net flux directly from My phone. Looks pixelly though.

I purchased this on the recommendation of a friend. At first I was skeptical that I could watch movies from my phone on my hd tv, but I am pleased to say that the adapter worked as intended! Be sure to plug the standard usb connector into a power source (phone charger) as this is required (on my phone anyway) for the unit to work

At first when look at item I was thrilled because now I can use my phone to connect it on my tv. Unfortunatley when I try to use it, it failed because the hdmi was not durable and when I took it off to my tv it broke the hdmi. So I believe that this is not a good hdmi it is a cheap design and the durability is not good at all I should have order an expensive one because I know that it would be better
