Nice camera's for what I needed them for!! If you are looking for high quality picture especially at night then these are not what you need. But for close range they seem to be a good camera.

I don't expect an electronic item to last forever but I certainly expect more than one year. I purchased the complete 4-Camera QSee Package from a local store in Trinidad, after 10 months two cameras failed. The option to return only the cameras was not available from the supplier, and it was too much of a hassle to pull down all the wiring to return the entire unit. So, I chose to buy two replacement cameras at Amazon.

The replacement of the defective cameras were a snap, and I must add that the picture quality of the ones I bought were far better than the ones originally supplied. But here I am after 16 months writing a (poor) review of their life kaput goes another camera!

I would not recommend this product to anyone who is thinking about a camera system. It is cheaper the most other security systems and that is exactly what it is ... cheap!

I give 2 stars one for each year of service!

When I received these cameras, I already had two wireless security cameras installed at my home. I really did not think having wired cameras would be much of an issue. I was so wrong! Wired cameras are such a headache to install and do not offer the versatility of a wireless camera and though these cameras come with 60 ft of wiring... for my house that was not near enough. Moreover, the picture quality was not what I would call high quality and the night vision was disappointing as well. Needless to say, if you are looking for inexpensive cameras with sub-par video quality for the sake of perhaps deterring a potential criminal then these are the way to go. If you want a security system that creates a picture or video where you can actually identify all in it, this is not the camera for you.

PTC 20ft PREMIUM GOLD Series WHITE HDMI 1.3 CERTIFIED 24AWG CL2 rated cable for Blu-Ray, Cable and

PTC 20ft PREMIUM GOLD Series WHITE HDMI 1.3 CERTIFIED 24AWG CL2 rated cable for Blu-Ray, Cable and satellite boxes, X-box, PS3, HD-DVR...After 15', you may notice the selection for HDMI cables thins out a bit, especially if you don't want to break the bank. I got this cable to connect my computer to my television, and it works great. The only thing to note about it would have to be how hefty it isthis thing is very heavy duty. The cable is thick; about what your typical grounded type extension cord is like in terms of both circumference and flexibility! Don't let this deter you though, just be aware that this is not super flexible or discreet (depending on how you are going to use it), but it works great and seems quite sturdy.

I wanted a long HDMI cable so that I could run the cable from my laptop to our HD TV. In the stores, the only length available was 6 feet and I needed more. I found this cable on Amazon and ordered it. It has worked fabulous. I can run Netflix from my laptop to the TV and I can show family members things I'm viewing online. It's great. I'm really pleased with this purchase.

This is a good, high-quality cable. I don't have a bunch of experience with HDMI cables, but this one seemed extremely nice. It's thicker than my co-axial cable and seems to transmit the image and sound very well.

Very reasonable price. Worked just fine, now I get the best out of my Blu-Ray player and 1080P Flatscreen.

Bought it to connect my BenQ projector from the ceiling mount and it works perfectly. I don't have any connections problems with signal and the movie plays completely without any interruptions. The cable is not as flexible but it looks of a very good quality.

VariZoom VZ-AR5K Articulated Arm/ClamPing System with Monitor Mount

VariZoom VZ-AR5K Articulated Arm/ClamPing System with Monitor MountThis thing is TOUGH but it is fairly heavy. I use it to support a monitor from my tripod for shooting game tape. The clamp works very well and the joints lock quickly.

This is advertised and pictured as an arm to mount a monitor, for instance to a desk. What I liked about it was having 4 joints instead of the usual 3. It says it includes a "monitor mount". What it has is a screw so you can screw in a camera. I cannot find any adapter for instance a VESA100 adapter with a screw-in. So how can you actually put a monitor on this???? In the picture it has 2 black rectangles beneath the monitor. I don't know what those are but they were not included. The one page 'instructions' that come with it point to the last joint with the screw as the monitor mount. Sell it for what it is a camera mount.

My setup includes an Apple TV box which only has DTS optical output. However, we use a projector for video and analog speakers for audio. I had originally purchased a ViewHD Premium switch which also has RCA audio output, but the sound quality was very poor and very soft and totally unusable. Amazon took it back, no questions. This Kanaan, on the other hand, sounds fantastic!

I really enjoy this auto-focus digital microscope and I think it is one unique product on markets. The microscope is well built and has good quality. The steel stand is sturdy and helpful to make adjustment of the observation angles. The most enjoyable part is that with simple clicks, I can control the focus, lighting from the software. I found the measurement and comparison functions are useful too.

I purchased this USB microscope so that I could take quality pictures of coins and do highly detailed close-up examination as well. I have only worked with the scope for a few hours, but was very impressed with the ease of set up and super quality still photos it produced on my laptop. No problems installing software or hardware.

The metal stand feels a bit flimsy and is totally manual control, it also controls the field of view / magnification, which I learned through trial and error. If you put the scope right next to the object, you get high mag/high detail, if you move it up the stand you get a wider view and lower magnification. Once I figured that out, it was perfect for looking at the whole coin, or just a key detail of the coin with the scope closer in.

The auto focus took a bit of getting used to, but eventually I figured that out as well--when you move the scope up and down, you need to run the autofocus to get a clear picture. No problems there after the learning curve.

Great pictures, directly onto my laptop. The software is a bit kludgy, but it works and I was able to get what I wanted. Key appears to be appropriate direct / indirect lighting, depending on the object you're scoping. There is an LED light on the scope, but that tended to get some unwanted reflections, so I used indirect lighting with much better results.

Overall, you get what you pay for. There is a learning curve with this (especially for newbies like me), but once I figured it out, this was a great little scope at a great price, and exactly what I was hoping for when I ordered it over Amazon.

First the good news: I liked the seller (Oasis Scientific Inc.). They seemed to be genuinely nice, good people who sincerely tried to help me get this product working properly. They even called me -amazing!

Now the bad news: the product itself. Gee whiz, where do I begin? There appears to be no way to get the device out of the "default setting is operating microscope" mode (that quote is from page 68 in the manual). I repeatedly clicked the button that SHOULD exit that mode, and every other button I could find that might possibly relate, all to no effect. While images from the "microscope" (more about that in a minute) appeared on my computer screen, after countless attempts on two different computers (a Vista 64-bit desktop and a Vista 32-bit laptop), the remote control functions never worked. Those functions are one of the primary benefits of this model (assuming they work), and why this is so expensive, so when they don't work, this is just another cheap "microscope," but it isn't inexpensive.

Calling this a microscope is a bit of a stretch. The "320x on 22" monitor" is like saying I am 20 feet tall on a movie screen.

The white LEDs that illuminate the object being viewed often reflect off it and wash out portions of the image in addition to making colors appear too pale. Turning the LED intensity down (or off) can solve both problems but create another: an overly dark image. I usually obtained the best images by using natural light and *carefully* adjusting its intensity, such as by blocking some light coming in from the window. Question for the engineers who designed this device: There's an easy way to correct this problem. Can you think of it?

Even on its best setting, JPEG images from this device were very disappointing, exhibiting pronounced blockiness and blurring. I assume they are compression artifacts, yet I can't produce equivalent distortions in Photoshop even when I save JPEGs with a quality of 0.

I could never get the autofocus to work unless the "microscope" was relatively far from the object. Even when it worked, it would have been much faster to focus manually because the autofocus zoomed in and out, and in and out, before finally settling. The autofocus motor and gears sound like they're made of cheap, tinny metal and cheap plastic gears. For $190, I expected better quality.

Because the autofocus is so poor, it'd be nice to have a manual focus on the stand like some other models have in which screwing a knob changes the height and hence focus.

Besides the fact that part of the software (the remote control functions) never worked for me, some of the other software was also annoying. For example, no image would appear until I clicked Setting > Input Device. Oh, come on . . . can't that be the default? I also couldn't find any obvious way to set preferences, such as image size & quality and the default location to save images.

I installed the software from the included CD. A newer version is available from ViTiny's website, but it is a .rar file, which Windows (Vista 64-bit) will not open. It is utterly ridiculous to supply software updates in a format that Windows will not open without searching for a utility written by someone I don't know or trust, from a website I don't know or trust. Expecting me to go on a wild-goose chase, and waste more of my time, figuring out how to install that new software (which may or may not solve the above problems) is RIDICULOUS.

Ultimately, I returned the device to the seller and received a refund for it. Even-steven? Not quite. I got my money back but I'll never get back the many hours I spent TRYING to get this thing to work and communicating with the seller. This was so frustrating that I coined a new term: junkphobia, referring to a fear of buying products because too many of them are junk that wastes our time or fails prematurely. Ethical manufacturers should compensate users who lost time, money, or both as a result of product flaws. Instead, too many manufacturers do anything they can get away with. If their products cause you to waste time, too bad; their profits are more important than doing the right thing.

UPDATE: I strive to be fair, so I revised my rating from the original one star to four stars after receiving a comment from "experimentist" (see below), who seems to be the manufacturer. I am impressed they took the time to investigate the problems I experienced. He/she seems honest, so I'll assume the microscope I returned did indeed function acceptably on their Vista systems. By looking through the manual, I see images captured with very good quality.

Fantastic projector we have it projected on wall 108 across and it looks stunning. The 4000 lumens is incredibly bright and the picture does not degrade when the blinds are open during the day. We got this projector to replace a viewsonic pj1165 that did not have a hdmi connection. Very happy only disappointment is that the Roku is not compatible with projectors.

By far the best projector I have ever owned or used, in every respect. Produces a beautiful, perfectly sharp, brilliant image. Love the adjustability of the throw length of the lens. It means I can correct for the distance between the projector and the screen to some degree, and not have the image limited by the space of the room I am in. Do yourself a favor, if you don't buy this projector, buy one that has an adjustable image throw length on the lens. You will thank me when you are trying to squeeze your projector into the exact space you want it and the distance you want it from the screen it's pointing at, especially if you have space limitations/are in a fixed room and want things to be exactly certain places.

The ONLY problem I have ever had with it is that while it has the capability to output HDMI audio to my older, analog audio speakers. I can't seem to get it to work all the time. It works great with my PC, but, for instance, my PS3 has no mini jack audio out, only the newer optical output and older RCA outputs. I could take the audio off the RCA jacks, use an adapter to convert that to mini, and tell the PS3 to output the audio to both HDMI and RCA, however, I don't want to go to all that hassle. When I connect my computer to the projector, with the very same HDMI cable, and plug in my sound system to the analog output audio jack, I have no problem. The audio system is a very high quality Bose 2.1 speaker system with USB and mini jack ports. It will work even without a USB connection, only analog, and vise-versa. Very well designed. Has a built in amp with adjustable volume. It's amazing tiny little speakers can fill a huge room, and even outdoors, with booming top notch quality sound. When I have the PS3 connected to the projector via HDMI, I get no audio signal. Perhaps it's just a limitation of the PS3 itself and no fault of the projector. I wonder, is it sending the audio signal in some different way?! Isn't an HDMI audio signal always the same format? Since the projector has 2 HDMI ports, I tried fiddling with swapping my PC output and PS3 output between the two HDMI inputs on the projector. Always the same result. Perfect audio from the PC, No audio from the PS3. What perplexes me even more, is I had the system working prior, with the PS3 audio streaming out the analog port on the projector to my sound system. Not sure what setting I changed to mess that up. Perhaps I should bite the bullet and just buy a digital sound system to go with the projector, that would solve all my problems I think. Anyone else have any constructive feedback to this issue?
