Zeikos ZE-SG26 Set of 3 Screen Protectors (3 x 5-Inches)

I have never done a review on Amazon so hopefully this will help. I bought the set of 3 protectors for my JVC GZ-HM300 camcorder. First off, the other reviewer that said the squeegee card isn't level was correct. Now, I sized and cut my screen protector and tried to place it on as careful and bubble free as possible. That didn't work at all. There were many bubbles and when I tried to use my credit card to remove them it didn't really work. It is hard to explain what happen when I tried to smooth them out, but basically it left a bubble shaped mark on the screen protector were the bubble was. I sized and cut 2 more protectors and no luck, still a lot of bubbles (I only used 1 screen protector for all of the attempts, 1 protector is fairly big.).

On the next attempt I only got a few bubbles so I decided to leave it on. I was thinking about what another reviewer said on here about when you turn the device on, that you can't see the bubbles. Well for my camcorder I could notice them. Maybe it was because I was looking for them but they are definitely visible.

The bottom line is, I paid $1.79 with shipping included in that price. If I were reading this trying to decided whether or not to get it, give it a try. You can barley get a soda at the convenience store for $1.79. Who knows maybe they will work better for you.

*UPDATE 4/14/13:

I have changed the rating from 2 stars to 3. The bubbles I talked about that I couldn't get out have almost all disappeared and I hardly realize that the screen protector is on. I didn't try to smooth it out anymore so I am not sure why the bubbles disappeared but maybe these screen protectors are like a fine wine, they get better with age.

I got them in the mail and took it out of the package and they were already all scratched up.. all 3 of them. It seems like all they did was cut pieces of packing tape.

Do not buy this item It leaves a very sticky residue when you remove it

I purchased this product to place on my cell phone and dslr screen before vacation. Product was very foggy after I placed it on the screens. I was able to live with it on vacation; however when I removed from the screens when I got home it left a very sticky residue all over the screens took me 15min to clean each screen.

Easy to use with a grid to measure for a precise cut. Easy to put on and comes with a board to press the bubbles out. Definitely would recommend this product.
