I just received this camera that was recommended to me by a photography student since I'm interested in the same. I LOVE IT! Especially sonce it came with extras including a carrying case and all the other accessories. It was a great deal, better than any retail store. It would have cost a lot more if I had purchased through retail. I'm looking forward to expanding my photography hobby into a small business and this camera is the perfect one to start with.
Arrived on time. Everything works well and the USB card holder has been very handy. The only thing that isn't great is the camera case. If you have more than one lens, it's really crowded. The lcd screen protectors seem unnecessary but that's probably a personal preference thing. Overall, very happy with the purchase and love the D3100 as my first DSLR after owning two Nikon film cameras. Would recommend it to anyone. The continuous shooting was really fun this winter while capturing some downhill sledding and jumps.
