I based this purchase off of reviews for the camera itself. The other items that come with this camera come at a extreme value (like 20 bucks more than the camera cost). The extra battery that comes with this kit, actually holds a charge longer than the one that Panasonic makes and comes in the camera. The mini tripod is great! I couldn't be more pleased with the camera as well. It takes better video than my JVC camcorder. I wanted a camera that takes quality pictures of my child in action. Every camera purchase I made of the $100-150 range, yielded terrible blurry pictures. I went through a nikon, and a sony, before making the informed decision to spend a little extra on this camera. It takes great pics in any light, and has a wide array of modes that are very artistic or "manual" in nature, for those that like to control all of the things like shutter speed and f-stop. The flash is powerful, the resolution is as good as my SLR. The color is digital, so you see the pink artifacting, but only under a magnifying glass, and in my experience, you only get rid of that sort of thing when you spend thousands of dollars for a camera. This is the best digital camera I have owned. I have had experience with Poloroid, Sony, Nikon, HP near this same price range, and this is by far superior. I did a lot of homework on this purchase, save yourself some time and know that this is the best in this price range.Save 32% Off
