Not that they were extremely high because I am a noobie when it comes dslr, but it captures extremely life like photos of everything and best of all I can finally get a clear image of my daughter who doesn't stop long enough for a photo anymore! Olympus D540 3.2 MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom

I love this little camera. I had a chance to try out this camera and compare it to three other digital cameras. The Olympus 540 won hands down. This is the camera I take with me every day. I own a better camera, but like the size and ease of use of this camera.

I took identical photos with this camera and a 4 mg pixal camera and you couldn't tell the difference in a 8x10 print done on a color laser printer. I also enlarged and printed a 48"x36" image on a large format printer and was extremely please by the results.

The camera is easy to use. In seconds you can choose anyone of the eight shooting modes. Also, adjusting the flash to be auto, always on, off or a fill flash is a quick click on the back control button. By pushing the shutter button half way down you can set your exposure. This is very helpful in some lighting situations.

If you purchase the camera, I would recommend buying rechargeable batteries and a larger storage card.

Compact, simple to use camera. For the price it comes packed with features easy transfer of pics to PC using USB cable. Excellent picture quality when used at best Pixel setting 20 pics with original 16MB XD memory card. Not used the movie mode own a camcorder. I invested in a rechargeable Li-Ion CR-V3 battery pack (yes! now available as rechargeables), much better life/performance than even the higest rated rechargeable NiMH not very expensive given its performance, available on Amazon for $31 (I bought my Li-Ion battery pack from Buy.com at $29.50).

I received this camera as a gift and subsequently took it on a long trip to Russia (instead of my bulky SLR film camera). This camera was outstanding: easy to use, produces good quality pictures, lightweight. It makes toting "regular" camera gear around too cumbersome to contemplate: this camera slips into a pants pocket easily enough. As my first digital camera, it's everything I had hoped it would be and more.

The software (Olympus's Camedia) is pretty good and relatively easy to use, although managing your pictures can be more work than it needs to be. Maybe I'll upgrade that to the Pro version. Nonetheless, I was downloading pictures quickly and everything worked cleanly. The main reason to use the software (rotating pictures) is convenient.

The camera itself is lightweight and pretty durable (my son dropped it a few times and it survived just fine). The 16 MB card that comes with it is too small for realistic use, but a 128 MB card is easy to purchase: budget for it, as you'll want the storage. There are only a few minor annoyances that you'll want to compare to other cameras before choosing this one (I don't think anyone else does it any better).

First, this camera (like many digital cameras) devours batteries. The "low battery" warning comes on very quickly--way too quickly, since battery life far exceeds the warning. However: as the battery runs down, the camera itself processes more and more slowly. So I've found that you'll often miss shots because you need to know about a second in advance to push the button. The lag between "go" and the camera firing is annoying.

Second, the zoom control is a bit difficult to use. It's located on top of the camera and twists, an action that I find difficult to perform while aiming the camera. I've taken to holding the camera at about chest level to shoot pictures so that I have better control.

Overall, the picture quality settings are easy to manage and the pictures themselves are bright, clear, and sharp. The autofocus is almost always perfect and you'll rarely dig into the menus to adjust the camera performance. The panorama capability doesn't seem to work, but it's an extraneous feature.

In any case, this is a great little camera. It does everything a digital camera should, is well made, and makes me a happy camper.

This is my 3rd midrange digital camera in as many years. I picked this one for my latest based on it's features (macro, self portrait, etc) and the awesome huge LCD screen. The screen is much bigger than it's competitors. The self portrait mode worth noting... some one was finally genius enough to note that many a snapshot is taken where two subjects squeeze together and hold the camera at arms length and snap the pic. This setting adjusts the flash and lense to accomodate that! Genius!

The downsides... even with rechargable batteries this sucker goes "battery low" way before other digi's I've had. It's worth noting. I think it runs out about 30% to 50% quicker than other camera's I've had. That's pretty notable.

Also... the bootup time is Loooonnng. When turning on the camera, the time between turning it on and actually taking a pic is way too long. Also the lag between shutter press and actuall photo/flash is incredibly long. MUCH longer than other cams I've had.

You sacrifice a few things here and gain a few there with digi's but, the lag time and battery life are deal breakers for me and the type of pix I take so this puppy is going back. :(

I have taken more than 1000 pictures with this great camera. Here are my opinions on it..

Positive Stuff:

1. Excellent picture quality. No doubt, I liked the picture quality more than a Sony Cybershot 3.2 MP camera.

2. The most powerful flash I've ever seen. The camera can take a good picture in complete darkness.

3. Decent battery life. Even though the camera might indicate a Low battery indicator soon, it actually lasts for a long time. I used Panasonic 2100 mah rechargeable Ni-MH battery. I got about 32-34 pictures (all with flash). If you actually turn off the LCD display while not using it, it saves a lot more battery power.

4. Transferring images to a PC is pretty straight forward.

5. The camera is compact and light as well. It was able to fit in to my jean pocket!

6. The camera makes good judgement when to use flash and when not to use. At the end of the day, we are totally satisfied with the image quality.

Negative stuff:

1. The camera is just too slow to respond, particularly, if the battery is low.

2. There were occasions where I had to take some moving objects, but just couldnt time my camera to take it. The response time between pressing the trigger and the camera firing is about 1.5 to 2 seconds (which might be too late sometimes).

Conclusion:

1. If you use a rechargeable battery with a good MAH, the camera is pretty neat.

2. What matters at the end of the day, is people should get good remarks about the photos they take and I get that all the time when I use this camera.

Motorola MFV700 7-inch Digital Frame with Video-In-Picture and Wireless DECT 6.0 Camera (Black)

I purchased two of these for gifts, both to be used as baby monitors. You have two components the frame and the camera, each with it's own power adapter. The frame also has a mini remote control.

The camera: Plays the typical MIDI sounding nursery rhymes and lullabies. Very narrow field of view. We had to mount it 6 feet above the crib to see the entire thing (just your typical crib.) To mount it, there are two screw mounting slots in the base. You can mount it on a wall or put it on a shelf. Low light quality is also decent.

Frame: Accepts USB key and SD card. Plays slide shows and lets you do a screen grab from the monitor. The left side shows a calendar or a slide show. The right side shows a clock in the lower 1/3rd and the video feed in the other 2/3rds. Unlike the video and photos show, this can NOT be changed. The video feed can't be moved or resized and the clock can't be moved or the style changed. Four different people tried we went through all the options. It's just not done.

Because of this there's a lot of wasted screen space on the right. The quality of the feed is decent, not great. The audio is fantastic.

Controls: There are controls on the frame back and on the included remote. The controls on the frame allow you to control many of the features, turn down the volume (but not up!) and display the video camera feed. The remote has more options and lets you turn the volume up as well.

Other observations: If you look at the sample photo with the baby closeup, the camera would have to be about 1 foot away. Not practical or safe. The Motorola website has no information on this product no manuals, no help nothing. The photo with the clock on top and the video on the bottom? No way. Outright deceitful by Motorola. Even the video feed dimensions are wrong it's obviously a fake image. It's also SLOW. The demo video shows modes changing instantly. It takes at least three seconds. It's so slow you'll be pressing the buttons again and a gain thinking you pressed wrong. Also the sample photos of the frame the video quality is not even close to those images.

The menu system is not intuitive and even hair-brained in places. What buttons do is not consistent. See the video.

For simplicity and ease of use, it's 5 stars. For not giving you what's advertised, obvious design flaws, and releasing a product that does not match the marketing, photos or promo video 1 star. Even the manual has strips of paper glued over some lines obvious last minute editing/removal of features from the manual. It's just obvious that the design specs and final product did not even come close to each other. Video quality, features, options all are sub-par.

My guess and it's obvious from the promo the video feed portion was supposed to be positionable and able to display full screen, there were supposed to be multiple clock and calendar types, and a much better video feed/quality. Then the budget was cut, the options removed, and a very basic unit produced. Again, that's my best guess but watch their promo video that's not what you get!

I bought this when it was a lightning deal--$99!--and was really excited when it arrived. We've been looking for a monitor, so that we can keep an eye on our toddler when we (eventually) get her going to bed on her own. Having the monitor included in a digital picture frame (along with a calendar, clock with alarm, temperature monitor, etc.) was a huge bonus. But there are some caveats, which might not be right for everyone.

So far, very few problems linking the camera and frame--once or twice the camera feed wouldn't display, and I had to restart the frame, which isn't a big deal. The space occupied by the camera feed is pretty small, which might not be great for everyone, and the night vision, while adequate, isn't very clear--but hey, it's vision ... at night. We can see enough to know whether the kid has fallen off the bed or is sitting up. We also haven't tested the distance yet to see whether we could use it in a bigger house someday. The sound sensitivity so far is spot on: after one cough or fuss, the speaker turns on every time, alerting us to any potential problem.

Note that there is no internal memory, so you'll need a USB drive or a memory card handy. And there is also no internal battery in the frame, so a loss of power means resetting the date and time.

For me, the only other misgiving is the lack of more detailed instructions on how to properly crop and resize pictures so they display correctly. You see, the frame seems to resize pics that were taken on your camera, so that they display properly, but if you pull them from your computer, they appear distorted, mostly stretched horizontally. As someone who prefers not to look fun-house-mirror fat in all my pictures, I spent hours attempting to get the sizing right, so that the pictures from my computer filled the entire frame, just like a real picture would. I won't get into all the details, the thousands of times I cropped, resized, deleted, groaned. But I've detailed below EXACTLY how I finally got it right, and the settings I like now that the pictures are properly sized.

The specs for this frame say that the dimensions are 480 (horizontal) x 234 (vertical), but the aspect ratio is 16:9. Now, this is confusing because according to most of the tutorials I read, dividing the vertical by the horizontal should give you the aspect ratio. Well, 234/480 is .4875 and 9/16 is .5625. I may be doing it wrong, but these two numbers should match. I finally discovered that dividing 234 into 416 is the only way to get .5625, so I set all my picture dimensions to 416x234 and, by golly, the pictures finally look true to life. It would be nice to see this in the documentation somewhere, and I wish I were smarter and understood why the 480 seems like a useless dimension when resizing pics.

I found a great program () that allowed me to resize all my pics to exactly 416x234 and batch-resize by selecting "Open Sequentially" from the "File" menu. Be sure to display the pics in full screen, and you should have beautiful pictures that fill the whole frame. It's a preference on my end, too, but I think they look great with a brightness of 9, a contrast of 8, and saturation of 6.

Overall, a great buy. It fills many needs around here, most specifically the fact that we are terrible about putting new pictures in frames, or printing pictures in general. Now we have many pictures on display, in full-frame glory, along with other great features this frame/camera offers.

My Husband and I have been looking for a video baby monitor for our two babies. We saw this item and fell in love with the item description. We purchased two, but after setting the first one up in our youngest babys room we didnt even bother to unpack the 2nd camera. The visual quality was awful. The night vision even worse! We had to put 3 nightlights in his room to be able to barely see him. The screen is delayed and sometimes shows colored lines. We were under the impression that the whole frame could be used to look at baby sleeping, instead its a tiny picture in picture. This item was not made for everyday use. At night you have to prop it up at the right angle so you even see the live feed of your baby in their crib. Even with only the video feed and no pictures scrolling accross the screen its bright enough to light our entire bedroom. The last straw was the camera not picking up sound on occasion. I woke up yesterday in the early morning, when I looked over at the monitor he was crying in his room and I never heard a noise. We packed up the camera and are sending it back to Amazon.

I hope nobody else waists their time and money with this product.

This is a review of the cable and the cable distributor Cable Matters since the package did come directly from them and not Amazon warehouse.

First, the cable does work as advertised, although only after a return and re-order because they shorted me by five-feet of the 15 with the first order.

Second, the cable is not exactly as advertised. In the picture the connectors are gently tapered and have the "Cable Matters" logo on slick plastic oval inserts. The actual cable connectors are plain black and rather block shaped. I have no doubt that sounds trivial to some people. But in my book this still constitutes a classic bait and switch.

I was baited with a product that had cool looking white plastic inserts that could actually aid me in locating the head of a cable in dim light.

I was switched to a product that I was not expecting.

To those who may scoff, I say consider this. This is no different than ordering a shirt of a certain color and getting a different color. It's the same style and the right size, but I wanted and ordered a specific color based on the advertising description and photos. If I wanted a different color I would have ordered such.

This button sets the image back right side up. The color screen is also detachable and works wirelessly. This screen is very convenient because you can lay it anywhere while you shove the WIC2409C inspection cable into an inaccessible area. Also, this screen has a video-out port, which I connected to a 19" computer screen. But all I needed was the detachable screen with wireless connection. Finally, this inspection camera has four small LEDs on the tip. But for behind walls these small LEDs are like a small flashlight in an underground cave. Therefore, I taped a mini LED flashlight on the camera end with electrical tape. Then I turned the mini flashlight on and fed the camera into my cieling. I had more than enough light and could see around 10 feet between the joists of my cieling.

What I missed was that not all Whistler inspection cameras that look the same in the ads have the ability to record to an SD card. No wonder the seller had the lowest price. This one has no SD slot. Be sure to check this feature before ordering. Also, the focus depth of field is very narrow. No way to focus this camera on the subject in "view". Still, for the low cost it's a good entry level, non-pro camera for the average user.

Fujifilm Finepix Z1 5.1MP Digital Camera with 3x Optical Zoom (Silver)

Ok, I guess I have to start by confessing to being a Fujifilm fan. This is my fifth digicam, the previous four being a Fujifilm FinePix 1300, a Fujifilm FinePix 2800, a Fujifilm F410, and a Fujifilm F420.

What a tiny gadget this is, and it still manages to fit in 5 megapixels, and 3x optical zoom. Very fast start up time too. As an architect, I love to be able to whip out and shoot any scenery, sunset or building that catches my fancy at anytime and this serves just fine. This leads me to mention the one gripe some people might have with it, people with large hands/fingers might have problems accessing the tiny buttons, but not me.

And what a stunning looking gadget it is! It comes in 2 colors; silver (the one I went for) and black. Very slim, slimmer than Kate moss, LOL! Never fails to grab attention when I whip it out. Excellent design! To switch on, you slide back the front panel.

It is very simple to use (you literally snap away once you have set up, which is very easy to do) and shortcut buttons eliminate the need to twiddle in the menu section in search of most options such as different flash settings, different resolution settings, Macro mode (amazing close ups), and many others. There are also some pop ups to guide you, reducing your dependence on the manual (which, like all Fujifilm manuals I have seen, is very detailed and easy to use) except for really major issues.

Like I mentioned, the camera has 3x optical zoom. The zoom lens does not project out of the camera. It instead uses a system where it zooms vertically inside the camera and images are reflected to it. Image quality is not compromised at all.

Images viewed in the large 2.5" LCD display are really clear and bright when it is used as a viewfinder, especially for indoor shots. Depending on the light condition of the environment, the LCD automatically adjusts to compensate, enabling you to view in almost any condition, a very good feature, especially as there is no optical viewfinder. This can also be adjusted manually. Oh, and the LCD is extra toughened to resist scratches/breakage. I unwittingly tested this when I accidentally dropped mine LCD face down on some cobbled street. I picked it up with my heart in my mouth and besides a few scratches on the case, no scratch on the LCD. There is also a new feature that enables you to view past photos taken while taking a new one. Cool!

The AF/AE lock is a breeze to use and takes exceptional shots every time. Photo quality is really amazing. You can pick out fine details in the background of the subject. Colours and contrasts are good and sharp. Flash modes are easy to access and dark indoor shots taken using suppressed flash yielded amazing results. Pictures taken without the flash come out amazingly natural looking, thanks to some new low light feature. Outdoor shots on a bright day are unbelievable in their clarity.

A very useful addition is the introduction of a short cut button to get to the timer; previously, one had to go through the menu which involved quite a number of steps.

The Movie clips with audio are very simple to make, and it is very easy to switch between resolutions (320x240 or 160x120). Results are very good as the movies are shot at 30 frames per second which gives TV quality movies. Best results are obtained where there is a lot of light, e.g. outdoors on a sunny day. However, it is amazing to see how the camera adapts rapidly to changes in light conditions while shooting. Length of clips is restricted only by size of memory card.

The video out function enables you to connect the camera to a TV to view images/movie clips. Very good.

Battery life is very good but it's always best to have a spare. The battery charges rather quickly.

The cradle is stylish looking too. I have mine permanently hooked to my PC and just place the camera on it, switch it on, and the software launches and downloads everything quite fast. The cradle also doubles as a tripod stand receiver.

The FinePixViewer software is very good. It is very easy to view folder contents at a glance, set up a slide show, etc. You get lots of print options from full photo, Index 1x2 (2 photos on a sheet), 2x2, through to 7x5.

Print results are simply breathtaking, whatever the size of paper, up to A3. Colours are rich and images very realistic looking.

This is a camera I would recommend without hesitation. It blows away any other camera in its class or price range. If you are looking for a relatively inexpensive, compact, high resolution camera, look no further. The perfect camera for people like me who don't want to do too much adjusting/setting etc. I hope this review helps you.

I am not new to digital cameras. This camera, overall, is more usable than any digital camera I have or have had. I've owned and used the camera for 7 months as of May 06.

I have owned Olympus, Sony and Fuji Digital cameras. This camera by far, as the easiest menus to navigate and are easy to navigate quickly without reading the instructions. The back display is huge and bright, glass reinforced, which a lot of competitors do not have. This keeps away scratches and smashes. The casing is real metal, so you do not have to baby it, and finally, the size and shape of this camera make it very convenient to carry in the front pocket of jeans with no problems. This is the RAZR of digital cameras, in my opinion. It is ready to take pictures very quickly from when you open the lens cover.

The rechargable battery has never died on me before I ran out a 1 GB memory card.

The flash is adequate but a bit slow to recharge. This is not a problem for me however, because I chose this camera for two unique features, First-"Natural Light Mode"-a "flash off" mode that enhances pictures with natural light. I take most of my pictures, even indoors, with no flash, because I like the look of natural light. This camera is great at capturing under those conditions.

The second feature I like about the camera is called "PhotoChrome" mode-it richens colors and makes pictures sort of a "technicolor" look. Print worthy in many cases. I use this in conjunction with the Natural Light Mode.

The only drawbacks I could think of with this camera is that because of the screen size/vs megapixel, sometimes you think a photo has come out clearly by looking at the screen, but if you didn't use flash and moved (which obviously makes pictures blurry) it will show up blurry at full size when you download it to the PC.

The only reason I rated 4 stars instead of 5 is because in super low light situations the fact that a picture is 5 megapixels but you view it on the LCD tricks you to thinking the picture was captured clearly when you might have a slight blur at full size. This may be true of all cameras, I don't know.

This is an auto focus camera. You will get incredibly clear pictures of close ups and regular photos, but you have to let it focus. This is not a "wail your arms around while on a dance floor and snap pictures" camera. Many people detract from the camera because they want it to be a fixed focus camera for situations like described above. Tempting because it is so portable and stylish, but this camera fills the needs of much more than a fixed focus.

I have a 4 megapixel Fuji S3100 for situations where I need mega zoom, but, who wants to lug around a camera bag on the trip to the mall or walmart or work? I also own a Sony DSC-P72 which is not bad at anything, but isn't great at anything either, and is too big and hogs batteries. Previously I owned Olympus digital cameras. I've found the 5 megapixels of the Z1 more than adequate, and I often shoot in 2 or 3. I have the black edition. It does show finger prints. If I had it to do again I'd choose the silver only for that reason.

I carry this camera often because its so convenient, and often those pictures I'd have missed by only owning a larger camera and not lugging it along are captured because of how convenient it is to carry this camera along. Its no burden at all to travel with, produces great results, battery lasts long, and is durable.

I just bought the Fujifilm FinePix Z1. Took it on a weekend at a beachfront spa on Tampa Bay. Took great pics. Very good lowlight shots. It was a cloudy and rainy day but the color was great. Zoom is 3x and you can digitally zoom in on the pic on screen. BTW, the screen display in back is larger and sharper than I've seen on other cameras. Video and stills are sharp and bright in the display. You can zoom the stills while viewing them.

Easily fits in a pocket. Lens is protected and automatically powers down when you close the sliding cover.

Directions were simple. Transferring pics and movies is easy via USB cable or removing the card and plugging it into my pc card reader.

Negatives:

The supplied card is only 16 megs. Not enough to store one video but good enough to store stills. I recommend buying a larger card. I purchased a 256 meg card and found it easy to store movies.

Speaker is tiny but then, this camera is so small it is understandable.

No case. You'll have to find one that fits. (I'd have rated it 5 stars if the case was included.)

I bought this camera after being tired of my current Fuji Finepix A340. The A340 is a great camera, but the time btw pix was painfully slow for me. Plus, I needed an excuse to buy a new camera!

The Z1 actually was bought by mistake. I was after a different camera, and hastily bought this one and I am extremely glad I did. At first I was wary of a rechargeable battery and was going to take it back, but I opted to toy with it for a few days first.

The rechargeable battery really is no issue. You get about 200px per charge and there's always the option of buying a backup off ebay for about $40. (Don't fall for the extended warranty crap at some appliance stores. They told me it was $60 and if the battery goes I can get a new one, well since I can get 1.5 batteries for that warranty cost, I opted to take my chances and save my money)

I love the metal case and the practically instant on when sliding the cover. The size is smaller than a deck of cards but it doesn't feel fragile. There is no view finder, which is fine by me, I never use it since I went digital anyway. There a lot of settings and I found that for dark environments, this camera is slick!!! Easily the best dark environment camera I've ever owned.

I'm not a photo expert, I take a lot of pictures, and as long as they are clear, crisp enough to print if I choose, I'm happy. I am sure there are other cameras that others will say are better for this or that but for a casual photo taking endeavor, this Fuji is perfect.

I bought Z1 about a month ago and gave it to a good friend as a great present a few weeks ago.

I just bought another one for me, again.

Before that I had a Fuji F10. I loved it too and gave it to my father in the summer.

I love digital cameras and have tried so many in the last two years, including the Canon Rebel XT which I bought, used, and gave it as a present for a wedding in the family.

I tried many other digital cameras, but the new compact Fuji's beat them all in quality of result. The Z1 also beats most others in compactness, style and feel.

Both Z1 and F10 have automatic sensitivity (ASA) mechanism which is under rated. It is a huge advantage, in my mind.

Don't know why Fuji stopped selling through Ritz Camera. Perhaps because their prices are too low for Ritz to make a nice profit.

Anyway, their prices is low enough to allow you not to think too much and just by it.

There's not much different in quality between Z1 and F10, so I'd recommend the Z1 over the F10. The F10 has a strong green light that helps in focusing in the dark, but the Z1 is doing a good job even without any light.

I got my new camera a while back and soon after was on my cruise to the South Caribbean. I snorkeled at Aruba and Curacao. Friends and family loved the still shots and video from above and below the ocean surface. Everyone was asking, "these pictures were taken with same camera?". People like being able to hear the underwater sound the microphone allows. I didn't figure this out at first but if you haven't used an underwater camera before here's a warning; get the camera underwater and give it a shake to get the bubbles off the lens before taking pictures or video. I played with some of the settings and took underwater, night, flash, above and below video, and pet face recognize shots.

I'm getting certified for SCUBA diving now. I will take this camera with me SCUBA diving but will have to watch how deep I go since it's depth limit is about 33ft. I loved the package I bought. It has everything and more that you will need. The only thing you might want to add is a faster SD card if you plan on taking a lot of video on it. I bought this as a gift for my fiance and I have played with the camera in order to better answer his questions about the device.

This package came with every item that is needed for a rugged camera. It is durable and definitely water resistant as long as the door is closed completely. I have read many complaints on having the charging port on the inside of the door. I have not found this to be an issue as I do not charge it out of the house or vehicle. This set also comes with an external wall/ car charger for the two batteries that come with it. The cameras batteries do run a bit quicker when the GPS feature is turned on but I would expect that out of a device that is constantly searching for active satellites. The GPS does take about 5 minutes to connect to a satellite but once connected I haven't had an issue.

I am an avid "hobbiest" photographer and this camera offers everything I could want as far as "point and shoot" camera's go. It is also pretty friendly to those who are looking for a basic outdoors digital camera. One of my favorite features is the panorama. The only down side I have is that it is slow to take a photo sometimes. I do a lot of wildlife/ nature/ sports photography and it usually requires a faster shutter time to get the shot I would prefer.

But, as said before, I bought it for my fiance to take to the woods with him and I would rather him take something more rugged and dependable with the terrains he ventures to. I have learned to just shrug off the two second laps in shutter time.

If you are looking for a rugged camera and do not mind waiting two seconds to take a photo then this is a great buy! Ours has been wet, dropped 5ft, drug though mud by our pit bulls, slobbered on by toddlers and is still working like a charm!

I love the camera. The Olympus battery is ok. It dies quickly. The other two batteries die very quickly. I will be looking for different batteries. The camera case is cheap. I threw it away. I would just buy the camera and extra batteries. The charger and memory card is a must. It takes wonderful pictures. I just need to figure out how to take pictures at night. This is worth the money.

Bought this camera thinking is has it's own microphone, deceiving photo shows 3 plugs for power, video and sound, but the camera comes with power and video only, the sound is a seperate 3-plug cable with mic and can not be use together. It's no use to me, so I have to return this product. Beware

Resolution is low, but the IR lights are more than enough for inside 0 lux viewing. Camera is very small and can be mounted and positioned any way you like, the microphone is terrible compared to some other inline microphones I've purchased. also this camera does not have the IR cut filter, so greens and blacks look purple in the daytime.

I used this camera in my infant son's room, while the quality is a reflection of the price, I'm still ok with it. (my wife doesn't understand spending more to get more)
