Bought mine at a university surplus auction a couple of years ago. It is a good camcorder with lots of nice features. You can buy optional remote control on ebay, and control the camcorder basic functions with wireless remote control up to 25 feet away. Uses standard VHS C cassette. Two recording speeds SP and EP for extended recording time.Snapshot function allows you to capture a digital still shot on tape for 5 seconds. Stabilizer feature allows is an anti jitter technology which helps keep recordings smooth and professional even with shaky hands. Built in battery charging system with charge indicator, charges battery when camcorder is plugged in and turned off.
RCA audio and video outputs allow for connection to TV.
Special effects. Only thing I would change, is the camcorder has a short battery life. Battery only lasts four hours on continuous use before it needs recharging.
Overall compact, light weight, good quality, and ideal as a good travel camcorder.
