Tera Grand - DisplayPort Male to HDMI Male Cable with Audio support, 15 Ft.

I've been looking for a DisplayPort 15 foot cable for a long time and this one was perfect and it was a great price. It arrived quickly and works perfectly. I would recommend.

Looking through the reviews of all the Displayport to HDMI cables, they all instances of defective cables except for this one (only 2 other reviews at that time). I purchased this cable hoping that I could keep the streak going. Unfortunately I got the dud. I tried connecting it to two different set ups neither would work. I am in the process of returning it.

It looks like the luck of the draw. Based on the reviews all of the manufacturers have QA issues and send out varying numbers of faulty products.

I would recommend looking at the number of 1 star and 2 star reviews compared to the total number to get an idea of what your changes of receiving a bad cable are.

I didn't do my research, and bought this thinking I could just throw it in my video card, then into my television, with my two monitors on DVI cables, and have a three monitor Eyefinity setup. When that started behaving strangely, only allowing me to use two displays at a time, I learned a very important word: "Active." That's not the cable's fault though. Seems to be decent construction, but it's relegated to the discarded cable pile.
