Canon PowerShot A1400 16.0 MP Digital Camera with 5x Digital Image Stabilized Zoom 28mm Wide-Angle

Canon PowerShot A1400 16.0 MP Digital Camera with 5x Digital Image Stabilized Zoom 28mm Wide-Angle Lens and 720p HD Video RecordingI bought this camera because of the described features regular batteries, HD movies as easy as pressing a button, the extra small eye for glare-free steady focus. To supplement my camera, I ordered a 16GB memory card, the recommended case, the 2-year protection plan and after a little research, the designated USB cable: Canon PowerShot SD1400 IS USB Cable USB Computer Cord for PowerShot SD1400 IS (which with shipping cost $10.74). After trying it out on a skiing trip I was pleased with the fast shooting, the long battery life, true colors and textures. Awesome camera!

Being able to use the view finder and turning off the back screen saves batteries. If you do need to change batteries this camera uses standard AAs that are available everywhere. The 5x zoom is great and more adaptable than a phone or tablet camera. The size of the camera is great. Fits in a pocket with ease.

I bought four of these (prior version) cameras for school and one for the school auction/dance (auctioned off with 4 hours of my time for photo instruction, etc.).

Anyhow I LOVE these cameras. AA batts so I don't have to worry about whether the camera is charged or not. (I have a PowerShot SX210 with two lithium batts, personally. But for school, recharging batts is no good the cameras might sit on the shelf for a while and lose charge and I don't want to buy extra $60 batts for them.)

So...kids use them, mostly, to shoot videos. Being able to take the SCCard out of the camera and put it into a small SD Card reader is just so easy. Forget about the USB cable. Most laptops now come with SD slots in them so you can pop the card out of the camera and into your laptop how much easier is that??

I think this is an EXCELLENT --> ENTRY LEVEL

C2G / Cables to Go 40321 Velocity HDMI to DVI-D Digital Video Cable (3 Meter/9.8 Feet)

C2G / Cables to Go 40321 Velocity HDMI to DVI-D Digital Video CableI bought this cable to connect my Playstation 3 to an HDTV set that has only DVI (I think it's DVI-I) but no HDMI. This cable works beautifully. Image quality is really good. The price just can't be beat.

You should be aware that while HDMI carries both audio and video, DVI is video only, so you still need to route the audio to your TV somehow. For example, I use an optical digital audio cable to do that (together with an expensive converter box as my old HDTV set doesn't have an optical input).

The cable connects my MacBook Pro DVI output to a HDMI input on my new digital TV and gives great quality photo display. Cable length does not seem to be an issue at all.

I purchased this cable to connect a PC to Samsung S4095D HDTV. And the cable worked great; but.. be warned that connecting PCs to HDTVs (via DVI/HDMI) is fraught with lots of pain. The main problem is that the PC desktop is cut off so the borders are not visible; not a problem in movies, but totally breaks games.

While you will find lots of people on internet forums who have "made it work", I spent days twiddling drivers and settings and never managed to make it work. The difficulty in making this work seems to be some (undocumented) property of the HDTV. In my case, I assumed that "has HDMI port" meant that I could use this cable to make DVI work.

In the end I switched back to using a VGA cable which looks fine and worked the first time.

So, the cable worked and was cheap; but it may not be the right solution to the problem (connecting a PC to your HDTV) which one would think is its primary purpose of existence.

This cable was dirt-cheap and did exactly what I wanted it to do: connect my MacBook Pro to my TV. Couldn't be happier with the price or the quality.

My ATI card has VGA and DVI output. I wanted to view PC video on my new plasma. I first tried through DVI to S-video. While it work, the picture wasn't nearly what I had hoped for. I then ordered the DVI to HDMI cable. WOW! Picture is rock solid and everything I had hoped for.

Lilliput 569ho 5" On-camera Hd LCD Fireld Monitor W/hdmi in Hdmi Out Component in Video in Video Ou

Lilliput 569ho 5' On-camera Hd LCD Fireld Monitor W/hdmi in Hdmi Out Component in Video in Video Out+ Headphone Jack +Pisen Lp-e6 Battery and Charger By Viviteq INCI decided to buy this 5-inch monitor as opposed to the 7-inch versions because I shoot with a GH2, which is a small camera compared to other larger DSLRs. This monitor is jus the right size and looks great on my rail system next to my follow focus! They buying experience was somewhat of a hassle. I purchased this for the first time a month ago from the VIVITEQ seller. It arrived with a cracked screen (not their fault) and a couple accessories missing and/or not as described on Amazon. The battery was not a Sony-F550, and there wasn't a Sony adapter plate, so I couldn't even use the battery that was included! After contacting VIVITEQ, they offered to replace the damaged monitor and to get me a Sony plate adapter, but they said they don't have the actual F550 style batteries in stock. Since I have a few F550 batteries already, my main reason for purchasing this unit was so it could run off those type of batteries. I decided to return the item, and once I got my refund I re-purchased it through the only other seller listed at the time, SmallRig. What a difference! Even though they ship from overseas, it arrived via DHL in about 4 days! Everything I expected was included in the package, plus extras that I did not expect. There is a 7-inch adjustable arm designed to mount the monitor to your rail system! This was something I thought I'd have to purchase separately (about $20-$25) but it was included!!! Also there is some other device, but it's not exactly clear what it is so I won't try to explain it. There is no base mount to support the monitor "off-camera", but since I plan to have it attached to my rig at all times that doesn't matter to me at all. Overall, the hassle to finally get the correct version of this product was well worth it! I hope you can learn from my experience and if you really need the F550 battery option and want the adjustable arm included, go with the SmallRig seller and not VIVITEQ.

The picture is not as crisp as some monitors out there, but other monitors cost between $500 $2,000. So, for the money it's a solid product.
