Cable failed after about 3 months. No strange or heavy use, to tugging, nothing that should have made it fail other than the fact that it is a lousy low quality product.
My computer and display no longer talk to each other. Worked flawlessly until about 3 weeks, then it just stopped and no longer worked. Tried reconnecting it several times but to no avail. Not a great deal if it doesn't work. I'm going to try to return it.

I was using the Apple Thunderbolt to VGA adapter with the VGA cable that came with my monitor with my Mac mini, but the results were marginal when there was contrasty light background and the updates were not that fast. The monitor had a DVI port on it and after researching it I decided to go with the OKEBA cable instead of getting the Apple HDMI to DVI adapter then using a DVI cable to interface everything. I had heard of intermittent problems with that solution. The OKEBA cable works perfectly and resolved all my resolution problems.

I got it because of the new connections for the Mac Pro in 2012. Used it for video transfer from my camera and worked perfectly

Did not work for me. Display was not identified. Image was hanging. Worse than with Thunderbolt-VGA adapter from Apple (which was bad too).
