HDV-G300 PS2 to HDMI Converter UP Scaler 1080P

HDV-G300 PS2 to HDMI Converter UP Scaler 1080PThis product was recieved and I hooked it up in hopes of it being a simple plug-and-play item just like my wii converter: not even close! I tried it as instructed, didn't work. Sent an e-mail to the company they suggested I go to the PbYr set up! My response, That's what I had without the HDMI converter only my new TV doesn't have RCA inputs! I told them it doesn't work and they told me to send it back, no address or instructions as to how. Told Amazon and they are supposed to refund my money with their A-Z guarentee. Watch the difference where you are getting the product from, overseas is a nightmare!

Great!!!!! Nice piece of hardware, works as instructed, no complains. PS2 games look sharp as if played in a PC.

Plugged it into my PS2, connected the usb cable, connected the HDMI cable, turned on PS2. Sound was really poppy, fixed that by turning off Digital Optical in the settings. Kingdom Hearts looks good but its got black bars on the sides now. Mega Man X Collection wont play. I heard you have to use rf, composite, or svideo for that game though. Also if you use a digital optical cable it wont fit with this HDMI adapter plugged in. My whole reason for buying this and the Wii adapter was to remove cable clutter and theyve done that and do a good enough job videowise also.

Fujifilm FinePix AV200 14 MP Digital Camera with Fujinon 3x Optical Zoom Lens (Silver)

Fujifilm FinePix AV200 14 MP Digital Camera with Fujinon 3x Optical Zoom LensI bought this camera because it was the cheapest at my large local Japanese electronics store, it runs on AA batteries, and as well as loads of pixels in the still camera mode, it takes high definition videos. High definition videos are important even, or especially, on Youtube to get a crisp result.

I tried a competing Canon product, the A495, but it was more plasticy, thicker, the picture quality was no better, and it takes only SD movies.

The picture quality is fine. It is easy to use. The AA batteries are brilliant because I can always put in new ones without waiting to charge. The only other way to ensure that your camera is ready is to purchase a spare chargeable and a charger but that puts 30% on the cost of the camera.

My more expensive cameras (Canon D40, Sanyo Xacti HD2000) are both in for repair. I needed a stop-gap camera. And at this price you can't go wrong, quite.

The only problems are it is a little slow between photos (the time taken to save the last photo before allowing the next one to be taken is about a second or so and very far from instantaneous), and when strongly over exposed there are purple lines below and above the over exposed portion of the photo. That may be a problem of the particular camera that I have, which was an ex-display model. It is not that thin like more expensive models but who wants really thin? The bulbous right hand side, that contains the AA batteries, allows for a grip. The zoom isn't much at three times, but I hate zooming anyway. There is no way to switch between movie and still camera mode wihtout using a menu. I would have prefered a switch.

Recommended camera.

Decent camera with good features and price. However Folks (especially if you own this), mine had a major defect that does NOT seem to be an isolated case. When shooting video at 640 resolution, the audio and video will go severely out of sync and start to phase and echo in really weird ways at about 1:15 minutes (does NOT happen at 720 res). I repeatedly tested this to make sure it was not a one time accident, and the weird sync echo phasing problem happened every time, and will show on both the camera playback, and as an uploaded video on your computer. Coincidentally, one day while looking at video tests of this camera on YouTube, I found 2 comments stating this very same problem, so it is NOT isolated and perhaps deserves a recall. I suspect that most people who own this will shoot video at the max 720 resolution, so they may not be aware of this defect. I encourage owners to test this and will be curious to see the results. Luckily I discovered this defect before the Amazon return period expired and got a refund. It's a shame, because otherwise, it would be a pretty good deal. Cheers.

Buy Fujifilm FinePix AV200 14 MP Digital Camera with Fujinon 3x Optical Zoom Lens (Silver) Now

As a first digital camera the Fuji FinePix AV200 is a good choice, it is economical, has plenty of features however the user manual has much to be desired in terms of simple step by step instructions. Being my first camera in many years I still hold it up to my eye when lining up to take a picture... I guess a view finder would be useful for me :)

Very nice camera for the price. Very disapointed that I could not use it right away. Fugi technical support said it has no internal memory for storing pictures of any amount. It does say that a memory card is not included, but I've had other cameras that allow you to store some pictures on its own internal memory.I cannot find anywhere writen on the box or product discription that you MUST have a memory card to save pictures of any amount!

Foscam Blue Iris Professional - Supports Many IP Camera Brands Including Foscam and Agasio, Zone Mo

Foscam Blue Iris Professional - Supports Many IP Camera Brands Including Foscam and Agasio, Zone Motion Detection, H.264 Compression Recording, E-mail And SMS Text Messaging Alerts!I have a total of 16 camera's, a couple of Panasonic BL**, Linksys, Foscam FI8910w and Askak Mole IP cam for indoors along with a SWAN DVR system for outdoors that i just figured out how to add onto the software. I absolutely love it, and it's been working great over wifi, and the customization is awesome. I mainly bought it for home security and to monitor my newborn. I can setup to record motion for all the camera's and motion + email/sms alerts on specific ones that I would want to know about like front door, drive way and side gate access. I like using the text feature because it's almost instant. I get notifications on my iphone within 6-10 seconds of a trigger. It's awesome, example my text will read "Alert Motion detected on Side gate" ...I log in with my iphone Blue Iris app ($10) to see that the PGE guy is in my backyard reading my meter and throwing in lunch away in my trash can. If i miss it, the the iphone app has the ability to watch the DVR'd recording (with audio if your cam supports it). This feature alone is why i bought it. It is invaluable. Since most break in's happen in the day time, and thief's usually ring the door bell to see if anyone is home then go to the backyard where no can see to break in, this alerting system is critical along with the ability to review the alert to determine if it's legitimate or not. With the iphone app along with the PC version, I have reduced my remote viewing iPhone apps from 3 to just 1. Its so cool, i show it off to all my friends and co workers. Since I figured out all the settings, i helped them get it setup up to at their homes. They all love it. I use it all the time, even when I miss place something, it's awesome to have to abiliy to replay past events to find what you lost.

The web browser functions works pretty good as well, I have noticed sometimes the image will get frozen and I need to refresh the browser to start up again using Firefox. This could be due to my companies firewall and proxy settings. The fix for this is to download the free add-in Auto Refresh v.1.02. I like this one the best because it has the option for hard refresh or the just a "soft" refresh of the view you are on. this is helpful if you have groups setup. I have Outdoor cams, Indoor Cams / and Kids room cams groups. Doing a hard refresh goes back to the default view which is view All camera's. I do not select this and only do a normal refresh every 1min (adjustable). This way when I only want to watch my kids rooms to make sure they are doing their homework or chores, when the page refreshes it remains on my 3 large camera's views of my kids rooms instead of going to the main "All camera's" view like with a "hard refresh" which makes them all very small b/c it's showing all 16 cams.

I have and monitored ADT security system as well but the Blue Iris application is like my front line of defense in case thief's try to cut the power or disconnect the phone line. Additonally it has the best user interface and endless features that are not available on any of the other security applications. I have the BI software running on a desktop PC for now recording to an external HD hidden behind some books on my bookshelf with a 15FT usb cable. A laptop would be better since you can hide it more and it has a battery for power outages. Just keep your router and a few camera's on a UPS and you should be fully protected.

Another cool feature is the ability to not only send alerts but it can play audio or turn on lights if alerts trigger. I have a profile setup for when I'm on vacation to play a 30min audio track of some action movie with explosions and dialog to simulate someone watching TV. The audio plays on my computer BOSE PC speakers that are turned up pretty loud. I also split the speakers out to they play on the opposite side of the house so that thieves could hear it from whatever entry point they are thinking about going in.

I did run into an issue with my Astak mole cam is very flaky on the BI software. I can get to it fine using its own webserver and on the Free IP cam app I have on my iphone, but with the BI software, it's hit or miss, sometimes it working and sometimes its not. This could be the camera though so I'm not going to knock off a star until I do some more research. I submitted a case with the BI support and got a response a few hours later from support. Ken offered some suggestions and also offered to help work on it if I put it online for him to take a look. Working in IT support myself, I was impressed with the support I received from the BI software developer.

Other features that would put this over the top would be the 2 way talk feature for both the remote web view and smart phone app. Some of my cameras (foscam/Astak) have the ability to speak into your phone or computer and with the built in speaker on the camera, it will output your voice on it. This is a neat feature to communicate to someone in the house when they are not picking up the phone. I purchased the foscam iphone app just for this feature alone, however it is lacking big time in comparison to the BI iphone app.

All in all I'm very impressed with both the Blue Iris PC app and the iPhone app. With the rising crime rate across the country because the cities have no money to fund police and investigators, burglar's know this and are taking advantage. As a homeowner, I understand that this will not prevent a break in, but at least it may catch one, or better yet deter one. I would highly recommend this to anyone wanting the flexibility of remote viewing and alerting for their security camera's.

UPDATE 6-21-2013:

Stability: I have had this thing running no stop for almost 4 months. There have been a few updates for BI since then and they have been all very nice enhancements and or fixes. The BI web server is bullet proof; I have not had the webserver crash at all since it's been up. I do restart my computer ever now and then for Windows critical updates but I have it setup so that when my computer reboots, it auto starts the BI software but minimized and password protected.

BI Mobile App: I have asked for it and now it is hear. The ability for two way communication with the foscam camera¡¦s. I can now hear and talk through the foscams via the BI mobile app. It works pretty good, but I do have to admit the quality and responsiveness is not as good as the native Foscam iphone app perhaps because it is going through the BI desktop webserver first then to your phone, whereas the Foscam app goes directly to your camera. But it is a good feature and probably needs to be optimized a bit to be on par with the Foscam mobile app. But I wouldn¡¦t buy the foscam iphone app to make up for it, I just happened to have both already so I¡¦ll continue to use the foscam for now.

Wireless Speeds: Since I have 16 Camera's, 6 of them are foscams and 2 other ones that are wireless, I notice that my wifi speeds for the home have decreased dramatically. My wired speeds are great getting 21mbps down and 3-4mpbs up. But when I run speed tests for my wifi, i'm getting 128-256 kbps transfer speeds on my N wireless network. Turning off the BI software gets me back to almost my wired speeds using the speedtest.net 6000-7000 KB/sec. Looking at the BI logs, I see that my wifi cams at 5 fps (frames per second) are sending about 64-128kbs per sec for each wireless cam (8x) so it¡¦s not that bad, and my wired cams are sending about 400-500kbs per sec at 15 FPS. There is a constant flow of data across my wireless network. I have an Linksys N router and a Cisco repeater/access point (G). My speed tests are done while connected to the N Linksys router.

Now this does not happen all the time which is frustrating, meaning sometimes when BI is on and running, I get normal fast wifi speeds, and sometimes I don't when it's running so I¡¦m thinking there is something else saturating my wifi network like the camera¡¦s internal web server. I need to do more investigation, but it seems like BI has a hand in it since when I do disable it my speeds come back instantly. I have since moved a lot of the camera's on Ethernet since the picture quality and frame rate is way better anyway, this has helped with intermittent wifi. I run a lot off wifi, TV Netflix, Apple Air Play, iPads, laptop, etc so this was of great concern. I now have only 4 cams on wifi and it seems to be working fine now. Just food for thought if you were running more than 8 wireless camera¡¦s you may see saturation on your wifi network.

Storage: I bought BI because I wanted to keep an eye on things due to the increased crime rate in our neighborhood, but also because I have a new born and 4 year old in the house and it¡¦s nice to capture those cute diaper changes and funny things kids do that made you wish it you had a camera recording while it happened. I have found myself going through these recordings and not wanting to delete anything ยบ!!!! Storage is cheap these days, and I picked up a Seagate 3TB backup plus drive for about $130. At the rate I¡¦m capturing videos, I have managed to fill up 400GB over the last 4 months. About 100GB per month, so I figured a 3 TB (275Gb usable) will last me for 2 years of cuteness before I buy another 3-4 TB drive. I¡¦m sure by that time they will be absurdly cheap. The other nice feature of this is that this drive doubles as a SATA drive docking station so I will just need to buy a HD only with no fancy case and slap it on.

Final thoughts is that I Still love this App and one of the best purchases I have made all year. I use it everyday not just for security, it has become the number on of my top apps I use on my phone and the live view and alerting feature has been invaluable. With the web security feature, I have allowed my parents to view my baby's room camera's during a specific time period so that they can just pop in and see the new baby sleeping and playing without having to face time me every few hours :-)

At first my wife and friends thought I was a little weird to have so much visibility/security camera's at my house, but after I show them the value of what it does for a home owner, parents of kids and dogs, I find them calling me a few weeks later asking how to set a system like that for them. If you have something to hide from your spouse then I would avoid putting camera's inside your home, but for us, we enjoy the sense of security and priceless moments it has allowed us to replay. Next up are some HD Cams :-)

Blue Iris ("BI") is a significant improvement over painfully basic OEM supplied control/display software. BI is reasonably intuitive and compatible with most-all IP cameras, and if a camera is not listed specifically in set-up, generally a set-up file for a similar camera will work fine. There are lots of IP camera forums on the Internet that discuss using BI if you run into challenges.

Note that the BI software license is for ONE HOST COMPUTER. If you monitor/control your cameras from more than one computer you will need a separate license for each additional host. So be sure to install your software on your primary host.

For the price, this is an excellent buy. Full-up professional IP camera control packages typically cost 4X the asking BI price.

I know you can run BootCamp/Parallels/Fusion to make this work on a MAC, but it would be nice to have a native MAC version. I did purchase this via the download from the Blue Iris website and did setup Bootcamp to run it and it works very well. It has all sorts of cameras and covers the many different cameras I use from Foscam, to Q-See to Swann and others.

The Blue Iris App works well, but you need to have it connect to the machine running the software. Once that is done, it's a no brainer

For the price, you cannot go wrong if you are running Windows. It works very well and is really easy to setup. The help files are well written and tell you everything you need to know for any setting. Just click the question mark on the page where you are and the help opens up to show you every option on that page and what you can do. You can also open the help from the home page and do all the normal things you can do with a Windows help search

This software is can be quite complicated. It is NOT plug & play. There are many, many configuration options. The software requires extensive knowledge of settings and the language that go with knowing HTTP, FTP Servers, WEB Servers, IP configurations. I have written & currently support multiple web sites & maintain a Windows 2008 R2 network for a company of 35, so Im somewhat familiar with what it takes. If you want to record activity from installed cameras, logic says you need to move or copy those recordings "off premises" to be reviewed later, which this software does provide. Why? Because if your property is being stolen or destroyed, so are the recordings if they are only being stored locally, on premises. Its like any good backup. So an FTP off-site or cloud is necessary to protect your files. Read and take your time or you will find yourself being overwhelmed by technology. Update to backing up your files off-site. I discovered that the popular cloud-type backup companies do not support backing up video file types, ie: MOV, AVI or MP4. What you can do is to purchase an ISP account which generally gives you about 10GB to start. Then you need an FTP enabled synchronization type software to copy the jpg & video files to that off-site location. I have it set to copy from the directory every 10 min. These are just things you can never know up front.

Want Foscam Blue Iris Professional - Supports Many IP Camera Brands Including Foscam and Agasio, Zone Mo Discount?

This is great remote viewing and recording software for the Foscam IP cameras. It does everything I want it to do. Email alert functionality works fine for me, and the motion sensing algorithm is easy to adjust and seems to work remarkably well. The pan, tilt interface for the Foscams works very well also better than the software that comes with the cameras. There are a plethora of feature controls, triggers, alert settings, and record options more than I will probably ever use. The navigation is well laid-out and things are easy to find.

My only criticisms are that it does not seem to provide a control for the IR lamps on the cameras, and the user interface is a bit "clunky" looking. But the latter issue doesn't affect functionality or usability, so who really cares? Overall, I'm quite pleased.

I was told by an experienced ghost hunter that this brand of night vision camcorders was not that great. So far it works great and is comparable to any other night vision camcorder. I think he might have had an earlier version, which i could probably understand then. I will keep testing and report back later on.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch LCDThe Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 camera is an excellent point and shoot camera. It delivers on what it promises. The Intelligent Auto feature works really well in a range of shooting environments. One button at the top of the camera toggles between the iA function and last camera setting. Face detection and auto focus (AF) tracking on moving objects are quite cool features and useful features, especially when you are trying to get a good snap of your kids or pets. The camera works smoothly on MacOS X with iPhoto (although the boxed PHOTOfunSTUDIO software only works on a PC but you don't need or want it if you have a Mac). The photo quality is excellent. It's has a 3X optical zoom, and that's all I really need (it also has a digital zoom). The backlit display gives you a realistic preview of what you're capturing I don't miss a viewfinder even outdoors in bright light. Burst shooting with and without flash works well, although the photo res is reduced in this mode. The video recording is better than nearly all point and shoots in the price range (although it is not as great of the Lumix LX3 at approximately twice the list price of DMC-FS25) allowing for 16:9 wide-screen video recording: WVGA (848 x 480) at 30 frames per second. It also takes standard 4:3 (640 x 480) video. For charging you need to take the battery out of the camera, but the charger is quite small and it is compatible with worldwide 110-240V power, although you still need to bring a plug adapter. I've had my camera for several weeks (used it daily for photos and video) and I have only had to charged once after the initial charge up. The battery door looks delicate but it should be fine with normal use. In general the build quality is high, the black brush look is very cool, and the camera feels great to hold. It is much easier to slip into your pocket than the Lumix-TZ5. My DMC-FS25 outperforms my previous Sony Cybershot DSC P200 . The SD memory card is great. I have a 8GB SD card. You can get a lot more GB storage for less $ than with Sony's memory sticks.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is great camera! The advanced features are definitely worth the extra dollars from the Lumix DMC-FS15 or DMC-FS7 models.

The Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 is a great camera for the money! Similar cameras with the same megapixels, features, and zoom ran much more when I was looking to buy a new camera. It feels durable in your hands, looks classy, and is a nice size; not too small but small enough to fit in my husband's pants pocket. We mainly use this camera for get-togethers with friends and family and vacations. Actually, the day we got this camera in the mail we left for a vacation to Florida. It took great pictures on the beach, of sunsets, and on a boat tour at night. It has a very nice zoom for a point-and-shoot camera and all of our pictures from our vacation turned out great! We were getting compliments on it our entire trip! We previously had a FujiFilm J10 and this camera is SO much better. It was easy to see the screen even in bright sunlight on the beach. The shutter speed is good (much better than the Fuji was). I had no problems taking pictures of my fast-moving niece. The video feature is good as well, don't buy the camera for this feature, but for short clips it gets the job done with audio and no delays. I have not read the manual that comes with the camera yet but flipping through it I found many more features that are not mentioned in the product description that looked neat. The software that came with the camera, PhotoFunStudio is easy to use and integrates well with a PC. I was able to still save all of the photos in MyPictures but access them through the Panasonic software. The battery life is great as well, it was charged right before our trip two weeks ago and has not been charged yet and we have taken about 300 photos in those two weeks!

I would recommend this camera to people who want a quality camera that takes great pictures of everyday moments, special occasions, and vacations. It takes excellent pictures; did not miss a moment of our vacation and worked well when snapping pictures of my toddler niece.

Buy Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch Now

Bought one of these cameras for myself. I took it on vacation and once I saw the ease of use and the resulting photos, I was so impressed that I bought two more as Christmas gifts for my son and daughter. They are also very impressed with their new cameras.

The pictures are very crisp (Leica lens) and the "Intelligent Auto" adjusts the camera exposure settings to produce a better photo than all but the most serious photographer could have done. The menus and controls could be a bit easier to use, but most of the time you will just press the "IA" (Intelligent Auto) button right there on top. The camera is just the right size, compact and very thin. Any smaller would be hard to hold properly.

The lens also provides a very usable zoom range. In my old 35mm days, I shot most pictures with lenses between 28 & 110mm. This camera gives you a zoom that just covers that range. If you want a long telephoto lens, or 15/1 zoom, look elsewhere.

Anyone looking for a small compact snapshot camera, that takes great photos with a minimum input from the user, should be very happy with one of these.

I bought this camera to be something I could pop into my pocket so I didn't have to lug around my DSLR. The photos are decent enough but my biggest gripe is the build quality (and maybe the slow focus). I bought this back in September and by the end of October and about maybe 1000 images, the lens would not retract back into the camera after shooting. I sent it back to Amazon and got a replacement. Here it is February and I just sent that one back to Panasonic. Now the lens will not always extend when the camera is turned on and I get a message to turn the camera off, then on again. When the lens does this I have to turn the camera off and on 3 or 4 times before I can shoot. In addition to this a few weeks ago I noticed an attached ring that surrounds the lens started to detach from the camera. Every time I put the camera in my pocket this became more and more detached to the point I had to remove it since it was barely hanging on.

My overall impression of this camera is that it's just not made very well. My old small Canon that was handed down to someone else is a tank compared to this. I took the Canon on the Appalachian trail in all kinds of weather. I really don't know if I could ever trust this Lumix for that kind of trip.

Want Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS25 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 3 inch Discount?

I love this camera! It's actually the second one I bought...had its predecessor for a couple years, then gave that one to my spouse and got this new one for myself. The viewer-LCD is huge and it takes great photos and video with sound. Only complaints: Not great getting video in darker conditions (even with increased exposure) and you can't zoom once you start a video. I'd recommend taking the time to go through the User's Guide to get a handle on all the features--many more than I'll ever use.

In spite of the couple video shortcomings, I love it and highly recommend it if you want a fairly easy-to-use camera that's small and fun.

Nikon D3200 Digital SLR Camera & 18-55mm G VR DX AF-S Zoom Lens with 16GB Card + Case + Filter + Tripod + Telephoto & Wide-Angle Lenses + Accessory KitI received the package as expected with no missing items.

This camera is simply outstanding. I have used many DSLRs, but

the picture quality of this is far better or equivalent to other expensive

DSLRs. For beginners, once you get the hang of it, its very easy

use, both in AUTO and MANUAL modes. Anyone who is in the

market for DSLR camera, then this is the product I highly recommend.

Great Price, Great Quality. You cannot go wrong.

RCA CC9370 AutoShot Compact Digital Camcorder

RCA CC9370 AutoShot Compact Digital CamcorderI've really just started out with this camera, so my rating at the moment is based on the ease of use. It's incredibly easy to get up and running in no time at all. All the controls are easy to reach and understand, and the video quality is very good. The only problems I've had was the first time I attempted to hook it up to my computer through the FireWire. It took Windows ME a long time to "install" the camera, but once it did, it took next to nothing to download the video in Windows Moviemaker. I'll be exploring other software soon. I'll update this review when I'm more familiar with the camera, but for beginners like me, I think this is a great choice.

I recently purchased this camcorder for my wife, who will be taking it back to Canada when she visits her parents for a month. We've been trying it out, and have been extremely impressed by the ease of use, not to mention the excellent video/audio quality. The menu system is easy to get used to however, if you're anything like me, you'll probably be fumbling with it to get to the effects you wish to use it doesn't seem that there is any way to switch between them quickly. As well, the digital still (photoshot) function of this camcorder is wonderful who needs a digital camera? (Okay, so that comment will probably get me into some hot water).

The only gripe about this camcorder is that it is next to impossible to find extra/replacement batteries as the included battery only lasts for one hour (if that...), I decided to pick up an extended life battery unfortunately, the RCA.... website did not have anything listed! However, I did find one site ...which does carry both the standard and extended life battery, although you pay a premium for both of them (I expect that this will change, as this camcorder is a great product).

Great zoom functions, too. I love it!

It is easy to pay a lot more for a comcorder but hard to see why you would want to. This little camcorder is light and compact, has controls that fall readily to hand, and has every feature I can imagine the general user wanting. The LCD viewfinder is bright and startlingly clear, and the image recorded is excellent -light years beyond older VCR images.

It is best to read the instruction book carefully before getting started. A half-hour or so spent doing so will make everytihing else simplicity itself. One thing it took me a little while to figure out is that the important automatic features (focus, aperture, image stabilization) can all be made to work in the "Manual" mode, and the handy automatic use of random transitional effects between scenes (fade in out, etc) works ONLY in the Manual mode.

Everything else is pretty intuitive. Have only had this item a month or so, so can't speak to reliabilty, but so far am more than pleased with this camcorder.

As stated in an earlier review, you will have virtually no luck finding batteries under the RCA listing. However this camera is able to use all batteries compatible with the JVC DVL500U. (I believe that this camera is actually built by them.)

Haven't had it long enough to make any detailed comments. So far so good. I have been succesful transferring files/videos via 1394 to a PC running Sonic Fusion Video Factory. However, I did not have success using Ulead Video Studio that wasa bundled with my 1394 I/O card. (I believe that this is a problem with the Ulead software, not the camera however.)

I bought this camera yesterday and everything with this camera is great. Considering price and feature. I haven't found anything I really don't like. I haven't tried to connect to my PC or anything but feel confident that it should go smoothly. My only complaint is finding a battery, like many other people. I final found a few sites but the best place is Radio Shack. Just ask for a 7.2v li-ion. They run around ...for a 3 hr battery. JVC batteries work as well.

SeaLife ReefMaster Mini Digital Underwater Dive Camera (Waterproof to 200 Feet) with 32GB Card + Ca

SeaLife ReefMaster Mini Digital Underwater Dive Camera with 32GB Card + Case + Batteries & Charger + Tripod + Accessory KitEasy to use. The battery life was pretty good I used it for 6 dives and 2 snorkelling trips, as well as some pictures on land, and the battery was still going strong.

For the price, this is a great buy! The underwater settings could use a bit more red, but it did it's job in capturing our dive trip. My one concern is with the battery reader it will go from 3 bars to none in one picture. Sometimes it will tell you the batteries are dead and turn off, but if you turn it back on it's working just fine on full batteries. One time it was flashing low battery and continued to work for another half hour. Other times fully charged batteries would not read at all, so we missed pictures on a few dives due to this. VERY frustrating, always carry an extra set (or 2) of batteries with you when using this camera and never trust the reader to tell you if the batteries are low.

Updated I have since uploaded the photos to my computer. A small complaint, but I normally organize my photos by day. I set up my camera to the correct date and time. When I uploaded the photos, they were all dated 6/1/2012, despite using the camera for a full 2 weeks. The times were completely random as well, so I couldn't use that to figure out which dates I took which pictures. With underwater pictures, it's very hard to tell one day from the next unless I had some land photos in between to use as a reminder.

A camera is a great addition for a scuba trip. This one is simple, but took good (if not great) photos. I'm very glad I bought it before my most recent dive trip.

It is hard to see what I am taking a picture of, under water and in the sun. It took very clear pictures thoughnot so blue like some underwater cameras.

Having just returned from a 10 day sailing and snorkeling trip in the British Virgin Islands followed by a week of scuba diving in St. Lucia, I must say I am very pleased with the quality of my underwater pictures! This is one great little camera! Unfortunately, the above water pictures (land) are not as clear as I would like. So I don't recommend using if for that. The rechargeable batteries that come with the camera don't seem to last even 20 minutes before you get the low battery warning and the camera goes dead. I recommend the use of Lithium batteries instead. They are the only way to go! One set of those lasted more than a week. I like the wide angle lens for use underwater as it allows you a greater field of vision. Unfortunately mine did acquire some moisture inside which caused it to fog up so I could no longer use it and will need to replace it. The camera comes with a 32 GB memory card but the instructions advise you to not use more than an 8 GB memory card! I enjoyed the simplicity of this camera, it's very easy to use underwater!

GE 45233 Wireless Camera with Night Vision

GE 45233 Wireless Camera with Night VisionI purchased this unit to add to the wireless camera system that I had bought locally. This is the secondary camera for the Wireless Color Camera with Receiver 45234 (). First of all, the price was the lowest that I had found. Shipping was FAST. Unit came well packed and in perfect condition. Easy to hook up. Just mount it in your desired location, plug it in, and set the viedo input selector on the receiver. Mine is connected to a tv and vcr player/recorder. Camera image is identical to the original one in the wireless camera system. If you plan to use this unit at night, do not mount it in a window, as the night vision lights will only reflect back into the camera. Therefore, either use it for interior purposes, or mount it in a sheltered location outside. Mine is mounted over the entry door on a covered porch, so there's no weather exposure issues. If you need an extension for the 8' power cord, the distributor () can sell you a 15' extension cable for the camera. You might need the product number to research this: Wireless Color Camera 45233. They also carry a battery pack that they say lasts up to 5 hrs. I'm very happy with my purchase.

This product should have stated it is an ADD-ON Camera, DOES NOT have a receiver...

i purchased this camera along with the camera and wireless reciever base set from walmart, the picture quality is quite nice and the night vision is great, i really like the wide viewing angle, i use one camera as a nanny cam in my sons bedroom, and it works great for the times when he starts crying in the middle of the night and i want to see whats wrong without actually going into the bedroom, i use the second camera outside mounted under my porch viewing my entire yard and alot of the street in front of my house, outside view is a little washed out looking but quite detailed, a neighbors car was broken into and the camera caught the whole thing and was clear enough to make a positive description on the person, it was about 8pm so it was just getting dark outside. Overall i say for the price and quality you cant beat it, the range varies depending on your walls and electronics in your home, the only electronic that messes with it is my old cordless phone, my new cordless phones dont mess with it at all, i also have wireless internet in my house and that doesnt affect anything either.

this camera is great for close range coverage. but do not have 2 of them too close together. there is interference.

Want GE 45233 Wireless Camera with Night Vision Discount?

This does exactly what it says it does. We have two because the viewer can show two different cameras. One is stationary mounted and the other we can put where we need it to watch our daughter. The camera I have no issues with and does in fact work in what I would call zero light conditions. So they have been great and we haven't had any problems at all. The viewer part that goes with this and the whole system together has it's limitations but that's just because of the nature of the product. I don't think I'd use this as a home security system type item if I were seriously concerned about monitoring something. It's just too "iffy" with transmission due to walls and other items using the frequencies for serious stuff. However, if what you want is something that would be satisfied by a baby monitor type level of function, then this will not disappoint you.

The night vision part of this camera is surprisingly good for the weight of the product. Were the "transmission" issues not there, this would be amazing. But those issues are things in our home and the limits of the transmission and not product defects. I'm not disappointed with this thing and I would buy it again without hesitation.

I am very happy for my Axis Camera Station and chose to upgrade to the latest. One Android App I am interested in for my smartphone requires the latest version. I recommend it highly. You can also test it for 30 days by going to the Axis.com site above before buying.

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inc

Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inch LCDGot the camera 2 days ago from Costco. Coupon brought the price down from $179.00 to $149.00. Took WEEKS of research before I decided on this one. Also at that price I got a 2MB card and a very nice camera case included.

It is well built, feels sturdy and not easily breakable

Wide Angle lens and 5x Zoom is very good compared to other point and shoots which have neither a 5x zoom or a wide angle

Digital zoom can go all the way to 20x or even 35x with 5 MP used. Not very clear but useful to have if you need it.

The pictures come out VERY clean with good colors, clarity and lighting.

Size is small enough for a pocket

Video is good quality...(wish you could zoom in video mode)

The IA button which basically presets scene, face recognition, lighting etc is GREAT if you dont want to press a hundred buttons to set up the shot. Just ONE button and your set to go!

Flash is a littttttle on the weak side but still good enough for anything I need.

LCD screen is VERY clear and automatically goes lighter or darker accoring to the lighting you are in...and EXCELLENT feature. Also has a setting for the LCD screen if you are putting the camera over your head for a crowd scene that the LCD can still be seen at that angle...I LOVE that feature as well

Lots of little extras in the hardware that I still need to explore....

Overall I could NOT be more pleased..the write ups online are good and my experience so far (I have taken a few dozen pictures to test it) is also very good. If you want a mid priced camera that can compete with the big boys on zoom, wide angle and picture quality...while at the same time having a small enough camera to carry in your pocket..this is DEF it.

As a serious-amateur photographer, I have Canon Rebel Xti with some lenses from 300mm to 50mm f/1.8, I realize that I need to buy smaller camera to carry around. It's not funny if in the wedding somebody poke me and ask for taking photo because seeing me carrying big SLR with some lenses..... so the hunting for "good, not expensive, point and shoot" camera was started.

One thing that I really don't want to compromise is photo quality. I know that Leica have excellent quality for "point and shoot" camera, only thing is that they have also "excellent" price tag on it. The lowest tag for Leica is $600 (same as Canon Rebel), the second lowest is ridiculosly higher than $1500... so forgot the Leica.

I know that panasonic use Leica lens for their camera/camcorder product (I have HD panasonic camcorder with Leica lens, very good quality movie).... so let's try it. I bought this camera "Lumix DMC-fS15 12 MP" thru Amazon (best price I found), delivered within a week... no complain at all.

I found that the picture quality from this camera is really amazing, much better than other brand my friend uses...

The user interface is easy to understand. basically I just read once briefly the manual and that's it ready for action. The other feature i found interesting is the "burst", combine it one by one by iPhoto and change it into slow motion picture is really easy and "cool" (my sons said).

Also I found very practical is the charger doesn't need cable to connect to the power, you can connect it directly to the power.

I just got this camera yesterday, so beware that I haven't explored all the options yet, but so far I LOVE it. My old Powershot A75 quit at the beginning of February, after which I spent two weeks worth of research and bought the Powershot A2000. I was immediately disappointed with it; athough I wasn't expecting the smallest camera on the market because it takes AA batteries, it was actually bigger than my old A75, which took four batteries instead of two. It also seemed really slow and sluggish, so I sent it back and decided to rethink my camera-buying strategy. Ultimately I decided I wanted to go with a lithium-ion battery instead, because though it may not be as convenient, it makes the camera much smaller and faster. Plus, the batteries are cheap enough to have an extra on hand, and unlike previous cameras I've owned that used AAs, the camera tells you how much battery power you have left so that you can plan ahead.

I decided to go with Panasonic because of its good ratings, especially on the Leica lens, but mostly because of the wide angle lens and its capacity for extra optical zoom, which I haven't seen available on any other brand. At first I wasn't sure how important the wide angle lens really was to me, but now that I have it I already can't imagine going back. With the option of 16:9 ratio as well as 4:3 (or 3:2) it's basically the difference between wide screen formatting on a TV and full screen, except that you have the option to switch back and forth when you want to.

For someone like me who likes to take pictures but doesn't always want to have to mess with settings, it seems like this camera actually has too many settings, BUT so far it seems to take very good pictures on the normal picture setting, and it's nice to have the extra settings when I need them. That is to say, they're there if you want them and for unusual shooting conditions, but they aren't necessary for most normal pictures. The self-portrait option does come in handy, though, because it waits for you to get in view to focus and then snaps the shot.

One thing that I've noticed that could either be a good thing or a bad thing, depending on how you look at it: the camera saves your most recent settings even after you've turned the camera off or put it into a different mode. This can be useful, because you can easily go back to the previous setting without redoing everything, but it can also be easy to forget what all changes you made to the standard format. I haven't encountered any way to set everything back to default all at once, so sometimes I forget that I have a particular setting selected (e.g. alterations to white balance, flash, picture size, etc.). Also, some features are unavailable in some settings, which can be a bit frustrating. For example, you can't take a picture in self-portrait mode in sepia coloring.

So there are a few quirks in the settings and it takes some getting used to in order to really learn all the different features and how to use them, but as I said before, the normal picture setting and iAuto seem to work quite nicely for basic pictures.

Another great feature on this model is the AF tracking, which allows the camera to focus on a moving object. Haven't tested this feature out much yet to see how it works, but I have a feeling it will come in handy.

My old Powershot is pretty limited compared to the capabilities to this little thing, but from what I saw of the Powershot A2000 for the week or so that I had it, the Lumix overshadows it as well. I've read that Canon picture quality is supposedly slightly better, with Panasonics producing a watercolor effect, but that difference seems minor to me compared to the wide angle lens combined with the zoom power and the other features available. (Wide angle is available on some Canons but mostly with no more than 4x optical zoom.) Once I read about this camera, I waited about three weeks until it was finally available, and it was worth the wait. Great little camera.

My purchase was the result of a month or more of research. My goal was to find an ultracompact camera for $200 or less that would produce very good images and provide a wide angle lens with at least 4X optical zoom. I learned photography on a Nikon FT2 SLR and although I enjoyed selecting aperture and shutter speed for each shot I was willing to give into an automode digital camera for the sake of convenience and speed. So the search began. Canon seemed to be the obvious choice at 1st, but after handling a few of the different models, I found them to feel not solidly built. Yes the reviews are good but I was never one to follow the masses. So I began to look at Nikon and Panasonic. Nikons just don't seem to have the quality they were once noted for and the reviews were just OK. So I looked at the Lumix with a Leica lens. The price was right and a wide angle 29mm to 145 mm, 5X optical. Nice. Reviews were not as numerous as the Canons but indicated good satisfaction on the part of owners. So I took the plunge.

This seems to be a very versatile camera. A point and shoot at its best. More importantly I'm having fun taking pictures again. I can't comment on image quality/noise as I have not enlarged any images so far but quite frankly it probably will be a non issue for me as I am not a professional and just need a clear images to record events, people, and maybe a video or two.

So far I'm very happy with the camera features. The IA setting allows you to shoot away without worrying about selecting scene modes with very good results. The LCD is bright and clear. Love the placement of the control buttons. I have large hands and have no problems with the small buttons. The menus are very easy to follow even without reviewing the manual. The flash is more than adequate. I got some great portraits using it in doors. I shot a video off the TV zoomed at 5x and wow it came out great and was very stable. I purchased a Transcend 8 gig memory card with a USB reader for the camera. Worked great with my Macbook 1st try. Camera start up is very quick. Image reviewing is easy and fast. I'm looking forward to trying out different modes and options. This is going to be a favorite for me with travel, sporting events, and family photos. The size and weight is optimal for the shirt or jacket pocket. I found a few of the Canons to be too small for my hands. Also, most of the Canon line only have a 2.5 inch LCD vs a 2.7 inch LCD in the Lumix. You also have to pay a $50 + premium for wide angle and a 5X zoom in the Canon. So this was a good buy IMHO. I plan to post a few images in the near future. Panasonic name has always been good to me.

Good job Pany!! A great camera. Also...see Panasonic.com for a free 4 gig card and camera case when you purchase this camera.

Highly recommended.

Want Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS15 12MP Digital Camera with 5x MEGA Optical Image Stabilized Zoom and 2.7 inc Discount?

The Panasonic FS15 is nice featured camera. The 5x zoom is sufficient for my needs and the 29mm wide angle lens is a plus. Video capture is clear but you cannot zoom while recording. The pictures come out clear and crisp. The flash for nighttime shots is definitely sufficient, it was able to capture a clear picture in my pitch black living room. The camera starts up in under two seconds and my battery is still full after about 70+ shots. I very much recommend this camera to anyone looking for a point and shoot. Some people complain about the weak flash but it is completely usable in all lighting conditions. Get a DSLR if you want superior shots in the dark.

Esky C5900 H.264 IP Camera, Internet WiFi Wireless/Wired, Pan Tilt, 2-way audio, Build-in DVR, Motion triggered, IR cutThe picture quality is outstanding (compared to my other cameras). The setup was relatively easy. The only negative thing I can say (and it's minor) is the monitoring software is not compatible with my other non Esky cameras. Also, it doesn't work well with my android phone app. But these are minor issues because I found a way to work around them. I

I'm returning this product. The hardware seems fine. The problem is the software. The camera resets its position every day, which means that I can't keep it pointed in the direction I want. The software is poorly written, which means I never know when the config has actually taken effect. Example: If you change the admin password (as you should), you're actually limited to something like 8-10 characters. But the interface doesn't tell you this. When I tried to configure a longer password, it took it, but then it wouldn't let me log back in to the admin interface. I had to manually reset the camera to factory defaults in order to get back in.

We have been using the camera for few months and we really like it. There are so many iphone apps that are compatible with it. The only reason I gave it 4 stars and not 5 is because sometimes we have to reconfigure it. But to be fair, I am not sure if this is problem with the camera or with the router we are using. Most probably it is the router, but I just wanted to mention it.

Items were delivered within the estimated delivery dates. Items were packaged very well. These cameras are fairly simple to setup. Getting an email from the motion sensor has proven them worth the money spent. The cost is certainly reasonable. The image resolution is not high quality, but enough.
