Cmple Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable (6 ft)

Bought my first Blu-Ray player and a new Yamaha receiver from Amazon to hook up to my big Mitsu DLP TV, and ordered a couple of this inexpensive cables with my order.

They work great, but the one old cable I already had (another brand) was lossy, I guess, and didn't work.

Didn't particularly want to wait a couple days, so I went to a local Radio Shack, where they wanted $80 for a similar cable! Then to Staples next door, where they wanted $40. Then to Walmart on the way home where even they wanted $30!

So, I decided to order another one of these!

I got this cable and mini dp to hdmi adapter for the new mid 2010 mac book pro cause i didn't want to use two cables. One video one audio in order to watch hulu on tv. This cable works great 6 ft is perfect if you go any loger your signal will cut out fro time to time. It carries video and audio but you need to buy mdp to hdmi cable. Great cable and feels solid. It's a joke that people think an $20+ 6-foot cable is better than this (when in reality they are not). It's even more of a joke to see stores (cough, cough Best Buy) to sell them at $60+.

This version category is well suited for almost everyone (unless your expecting the next-generation of high-def) and is properly priced. Too bad that it's no longer stocked (at the time of this review). I got 2 a few weeks back and they work perfectly.

As HDMI cables go, these seem great and the price is killer. I am not a technophile but seems they connect everything up just fine without any noticeable loss of clarity or signal. At this price, bought a bunch and now won't be rooting around or making a trip to town.

Sharp VL-AH60U Hi8 Camcorder

i upgraded from 8 to hi-8. this camcorder is really easy to use and transfer to vhs tape. editing is a snap and alot of fun to do. i'm paralized from the waist down and i created a couple of movies from my perspective ( i fastened my vl-ha60u camcorder on my shoulder ) and just filmed my goings on. all my family / friends thought it was pretty cool! everyone i've played a recording for were suprised at the quality of the film. i use the vhs tapes that you get 5 for 4.99, so you don't have to pour out alot of monies just to operate it. i have only 2 gripes about this camcorder...#1needs a better lens cap...mine pops off every time, always before i'm ready to shoot! #2the gadget bag that comes with it is a piece of junk! they shouldn't even bother to send it. by sending along such a cheap/chintzy/crummy gadget bag, it's like Sharp condones shoddy, cheap, even "ugly" craftsmanship. neither of my gripes reflect on the main issue...the high quality and performence of this camcorder. i give it 4 1/2 stars with-out hesitation!.....ENJOY!

The best thing about the VLAH 60U is that you don't have to worry: the lighting doesn't matter, the acoustics don't matter, the person shooting the scene doesn't matter. It always seems to come out great.

We had a christening, and my mother in law came from Lithuania to be part of it. She speaks virtually no English, and my Lithuanian could be called pathetic. I gave her the camera, and with a few gestures and a minimum of words, she was able to get some great shots, despite the fact that the church was dark and the PA system sucked....That is good in a family camera.

The only problem is that ..., and it has no remote or in camera charger. Those two things are very desirable and would make it even better. I'm hoping to find both someday.

I did have to call Tech Support on some Thing that I was not sure on but she was very helpful and did not make me feel small for calling on this. I will keep that a secret for the reason that I called. Keep up the Good Work Sharp.

It is ok to have it. It is easy to use. But it is BAD if something is wrong with your camcorder and you have to contact Sharp's customer support. You don't get any help as you should get.

I have been doing lots of amateur photography and occasionally have a need for all kinds of angles. The design of this camera allows you to set it on the floor and have a stable picture. That one quailty has endeared me to this model. Earlier models had the flaws of only being able to sense the remote control from front or back, and the battery did not recharge internally. This model allows remote control whether you are in front of or behind the camera for start/stop and adjusting wide/narrow focus. The only knocks I have on this camera are the lack of a light, for poor lighting, and durability (repair) issues. I have gone through two of these models, but will always try to own at least one, as long as I can find them...even though I also have other more advanced cameras with independent light sources and low maintenace/repair issues.

For an artist, it is all about getting the right shot.

This item works perfectly well and replaced a 6 ft long cable that came with my 24" Dell UltraSharp Monitor. The main reason for my review is that I saw many bad reviews on DisplayPort cables and not enough good ones which made my decision making process rather difficult. Cable prices range from less than $10 to more than $70 for the same length cable. I couldn't tell what the high priced cables offered relative to the cheap ones. I avoided the cables that did not specifically state they supported Audio. I use this cable to connect my HP Elitebook to the Dell UltraSharp monitor. I use my computer for all business applications and a VoIP telephone line. I do not use my computer for HD movies, music, etc., but based on what I can see, I don't think you will have a problem with such applications.

I am happy I made this purchase. I can tell you, you do not need to spend more than $20 for this product. If you want to wing it on the cheaper cables, that's cool. But please do not spend more than $20!

I bought a new computer at work and needed to put the tower further away from the monitors. The standard 6 foot cables were not long enough. These new almost 10 foot cables fit the bill and work perfectly.

You can buy with confidence knowing you will get first rate product but they are gouging on the price. Sorry I'm in the CE induistry and know what this stuff cost VS what they charge. Performance the same as $6 cable but when you buy it fromm Accell you extend your chances it will not fail. Peace of mind for additional 70%? Take a chance that you will be one of the 99 out of 100 and save 70% with the cheaper cable

Genius Colorpage-SF600 Sheet fed Scanner

This is a great little scanner. It scans anything from a business card up to at least a letter size page. I haven't tried a legal size page. I did have a hard time getting it to run on my computer which has the Windows 7 operating system. I was basically trying to pound a square peg into a round hole. After about 2 hours I finally got smart and went to the company site, , and downloaded the correct drivers. From there it was a cinch, only took about 2 minutes to have it up and running. I recommend if you are running Windows 7 that you download the proper drivers first. It will save you a lot of frustration.

I recently purchased this scanner mainly because it was portable and I do alot of traveling that requires my receipts to be scanned and sent in. So far, so good. The installation was not as easy as they claim, however, I have been known to be computer-illiterate at times. But once I got it up and running it worked great. Be sure to change the settings of where you want your files to be saved in(which folder). I scanned the receipts right in and they did well. It was suggested to tape them to a piece of paper but I did not find that necessary. In addition, the holding dock has an empty bottom so you can store the USB cord inside. NOTEThis scanner also comes with a soft case so there is no need to buy the "recommended" case with it for $16.00. I hope this helps everyone. This was the cheapest scanner with the best reviews and I think it does it's job.

the Genius Color page sf600 scans in good speed and takes very little desktop space. The image on the page is wrong and this is why the previous customer thought he received the wrong product and had to return it. I can scan jpeg and convert it to pdf format. Pretty handy. Scans letter size document too.

Physically seemed like a nice piece of hardware but it simply didn't work. Installed the drivers from the web rather than the disk so I would be sure to have the latest version. Seemed to install properly and asked me to do a calibration after install. Since the calibration ran fine I assumed install was correct. When I tried to scan I got images that looked like digital noise. Tried multiple times with the Digiscan software, omni page, and with the Business card reader. Never got anything but noise. Tried to call tech support but they were closed. Software seemed cumbersome anyway. Decided to just return it. Am going to try the Fujitsu ScanSnap 1300. More money and larger but hopefully will work better. Scanners aren't rocket science and they aren't new so I don't know why they shouldn't just work right out of the box.

I looked a while for a sub $100 compact scanner for my desk. (I already have a big expensive bulky flatbed I drag out of storage and use for slide and serious image scanning.) I wanted to use this to get all those everyday loose papers and receipts in electronic format and trash the paper and eliminate paper piles.

As described the unit is compact and powered by the USB cable so it has a minimal footprint on your desk and doesn't consume an outlet. Along with the provided software it has two hardware buttons you can preset for one touch scanning. I have one set to scan as OCRed PDFs and the other to scan jpg. I purchased this camera last week, no doubt the camera is awesome and one of the best in the price range, the reason I'm giving 3 rating is because of the seller. When i opened the box, .45x lens were missing and it was a surprise to see the lenses were in back order. If that was the case the seller should have intimated at the time of purchase or at-least before shipping. When I contacted the seller, I was told it will take 2 weeks for lens to arrive plus the shipping time. I'm still waiting for my lens.

Secondly the bag is of the cheapest quality one can find in the market, I would avoid carrying such an expensive camera in a cheap bag and risk a fall.

Basically the bag is cheap and also the extra battery is of some cheap quality, not the OEM canon battery.

Technically, I can't call myself a "professional" photographer because I've never personally sold my work-though as a graphic designer and Advertising/Marketing Manager, my work has indeed been utilized professionally.

I have been an avid and artistic photography amateur for decades, starting with the Canon AE-1 Program that I received as a wedding gift way back in 1983. (Amusingly, it was a gift from my new brothers-in-law at the behest of my new husband, but it was I who wielded it from Day One until it finally gave up the ghost some 20 years later. I clung to that camera longer than I did that husband.)

The T3i exceeds all of my expectations. The Program mode is super convenient and superbly intuitive for times when I don't feel like futzing around with settings--like when my college-aged kids recently visited me for Winter Vaca here in Puerto Rico. But when I'm scouting on my own with both tripod and time on my hands, I have every customizable bell & whistle I could ever want immediately at hand. Nikon's good, no question, but Canon's utility and lenses rock.

All of that said, after considerable research I knew that I wanted the T3i (more affordable but in every way that matters equally as functional as the pricier Canon models) well before I ran across Cameta Camera on Amazon. All I can say is that they offered not only the best kit prices that I found, but also a uniquely diverse range of kits to suit any enthusiast's particular needs.

I bought this item from Cameta Camera. The product is excellent and the bundle is great. All the accessories seem to be pretty good. But the bundle came with one lens missing. On checking the shipping sheet, it said that that lens was on back order. I wish I had known when I placed my order. This is deception of the worst kind. I am very displeased with the seller. Amazon needs to better regulate these guys and make them follow ethical selling practices.

the canon Rebel T3i and canon factory lenses are great as expected. This bundled package that cost less than the two lenses and camera body combined just made it so much sweeter. Granted most of the bundled items are cheap knock offs, but you are practically getting them for free so I can't complain. The memory card is a necessity and the remote shutter something I would have bought anyway. The memory card reader works well if you don't have a card reader port on your computer otherwise its useless. I haven't tried the flash and may never will because the built in flash seems to do everything I need. The bag, spare battery, cleaning kit (q-tips), and lcd protectors and UV filters are a nice perk. The additional (precision design) lenses that screw onto the canon lenses are fun to play with for a day but I will probably never use them again. Moral of the story: The Canon Camera (camera comes will battery, charger, and electrical cords), two entry level base models lenses, remote shutter, UV filters and memory card are worth more than the price of the bundle. Everything else is great fun to play with and nice to have but mainly cheap quality products to help persuade you to make the purchase.

Tripp Lite P570-006 6 feet HDMI to mini-HDMI, Digital Audio - Video Cable, 6 feet

I bought the cable for use with a canon SD780 camera. It securely attached to the camera and my HDTV. I found that the miniHDMI side was adequately narrow to fit into the plug on the tiny SD780. It works perfectly. I was a little concerned by some bad reviews, but figured I'd give this cable a try considering that it was 1/3 the price of other miniHDMI-HDMI cables I looked at. I'm glad I did.

NOTE: HDMI is entirely digital. The 1's and 0's either transmit or they don't. You won't get a "better" picture by using more expensive cables. Here, because this cheap cable works, there is no reason to ever get a more expensive one.

I bought the Canon HF-10 a week ago it is a great camcorder. I also bought this Trip Lite Mini-HDMI to HDMI cable. When the items arrived, I tested the camera and was very happy. I then tried to play videos over mu Sony 52" HDTV through the HDMI port with this cable. It did not work at all. I began to worry about whether it was the cable or the HF-10 HDMI port. The component cable supplied by Canon worked great on HDTV in 1080i but not the HDMI. Finally, after a lot of investigation (several hours) I had my wife buy a SONY cable (about $40). It worked superbly! It appears to me that the quality control on these Tripp Lite cables is very poor. Reading the review you see that a lot arrived and did not work. I think Amazon should withdraw this item. I know that cables are a high profit item for electronics vendors. You can get them cheaper on e-bay if you shop around. Going for the Tripp Lite version cost me waste a lot of time. The HF-10 camera surely is great!

I bought one of these to go along with my canon HG10 HD camcorder. Using the cable, the picture was grainy and miscolored on one TV, and didnt work on another TV. I did an amazon return/exchange (great btw) and the next one didnt work *at all*. I started to doubt the camcorder thinking maybe the mini HDMI port was bad. I took the camcorder to a Fry's Electronics store, and bought a different brand cable (30$) and tested it out on the spot. Worked like a charm. If you are getting this for a canon HG10, I would beware.

I ordered this cable with some low expectations because of some of the reviews. What i got was a perfect cable cable with no issues. I am sure that some people may have received a defective cable but most of the problem may be that the cable not being properly installed into the equipment.
