MY D7000 kit arrived at the perfrect time for an adventure tour in Costa Rica and the results are amazing. Total flexibility in my upgrade from a D80 that survived 5 years of tropical conditions, sand, sun, salt, dust and rugged travel. The D7000 was needed to continue the adventure ohotography and with the video option is the complete package. The 18-200 is a magic lens and I rarely need to swap over to the 50mm 1.4.

Big 'thumbs up' from Croz'

This was an upgrade from my Nikon D60. I do alot of sports photography for my daughters club soccer and this camera provides me with all the features for this type of photography. The camera is light weight and easy to operate. Has lots of dials and knobs but it is easy to learn what does what. If you already have a Nikon DSLR the learning curve is small. With two SDHC slots you have lots of memory for both stills and video. If you like to shoot and want more than point and shoot this is a great camera. Clearly the optics of Nikon are excellent. I still use my D60 as a second camera on the field. This is what is great about Nikon, it may be older but it is still good.

This is a price and value leader for IP cameras. I have bought six or seven from various vendors and this is as good as or better than any in its class. And the fulfillment by AMAZON is superior to shipment form China.

Remember that the product will require some setup including a little knowledge of LAN and IP addressing schemes UNLESS YOU USE THE INCLUDED SOFTWARE.

Because the software and support information is not originally intended for the USA market, it tends to be obscure, incomplete, or buggy.

Sometimes disastrously so. Operating the camera directly from the browser interface ( not using the special software ) with a static IP address is extremely reliable.

Not included in the specs are details of the 4-pin port ( connector included ) for external switched devices. This IP camera is much more powerful and much more sophisticated than the product description would suggest.

Also I prefer to use DynDns rather than the free dynamic DNS service from the manufacturer. To access the device over the open internet it is necessary to know the IP address assigned to your internet modem connection ( which will likely change from time to time) and a port number if the port is OTHER than 80.

Additionally the modem will have to be configured to accept and pass-through traffic to the camera's port ( even if it is "80" )

Given all that I can hit all four of my active cameras either through dyndns or by puting the ( known ) IP address + port number in my browser as the URL. and example ( fictional ) might be: 72.21.194.1:82 . the" :82 " would be the port number " 82 ".

For all the features and the EXTREMELY good price, not only am I impressed by this product but I expect to buy more while they are available.

One last thought the maximum resolution is 640 x 480 which is VGA and looks very good an a computer display. It is not HD and you will not be able to read the name tag of the UPS guy standing outside your front door.

The IR illuminator is good over a limited distance and revealed what animal would visit in the dark and "decorate" the mag wheels of my car in the driveway.

And you will be amused by the approximations of English in the support materials. You're buying an excellent IP camera from China, not Shakespeare!

I bought this to use as a nanny-cam at my home to keep an eye on my son with the babysitter.

The plug included was a Euro-style plug (the two-round prong only). On top of that, there weren't any instructions at all. I tried messing with it for a little bit, but even with the correct adapter, I wasn't able to figure out how to work it.

I'd recommend going with a Foscam if you want something easy to setup and use.

It works ok and it is useful only if you have software that can record video. I setup this camera to send pictures to my email whenever motion is detected. It works as expected but images very poor, even with slight movement you get blur images. I dont think somebody going to stand still when they tresspass your property so a big disappoint. It is okay to use as baby monitor or other simple task.....just count on it for home security.

Overall this camera is exactly what it claims to be. Its a decent IP camera with pan, tilt and 640x480 resolution. For what I paid I consider it a pretty good deal. However, unlike the previous reviewer, mine seems to have come with a small set of issues. First, the power adapter they sent is not a US adapter, it is the European style (2 pole connector). Luckily I had a set of adapter plugs I had purchased for a trip several years ago and was able to adapt it to the US style socket (you can get inexpensive ones at Walmart or Target). Second, while everything was packed quite well, for some reason they appear to have forgotten a software installation disc. The only manual that came with it was a 3 leaf insert all in Chinese. Since I have worked with similar cameras at work (and they pretty much all seem to come from the same factory), I was able to utilize the software for those cameras and got it up and running. If you happened to get one of these cameras sans disc, you can download the same free software from companies such as EasyN (this camera is pretty much the same as their FS-618A series). If you can get past the issues, it's a decent camera and good value for the price. While this camera works great, I am giving it a 4 out of 5 stars for the power plug and missing installation disc issues.

I got this package deal as it was the same price as getting just the camera and lens without all the other stuff in the package, so I figured it couldn't hurt. Everything promised is included and new, but some of the additional stuff is pretty cheap, though not all of it. The bag is pretty nice and actually larger than I had anticipated, with plenty of room for this gear and quite a bit more. The memory card is large and fast enough for HD video recording. The extra battery works fine and it is always nice to have a spare. The cleaning kit is pretty simple, but it works. The screen protector works well, you must cut it out to the proper shape though, really not a big deal. The UV filter was incredibly difficult to get threaded properly on the lens, and I will be replacing it soon with a different brand. The main weak point of the kit is the tripod. The tripod is cheap feeling and not very sturdy. As I tightened the screws to lock everything in place, the plastic pieces creaked with even slight pressure. I will use this tripod for now while indoors, but will be replacing it as soon as I can.

All in all:

Great camera

Good lens, bag, battery, screen protector, cleaning kit and memory card

Pretty bad UV filter

Very bad tripod

Still, everything but the body and lens came as a free bonus, so I don't see why you wouldn't go with this over just the body and lens. If you already have a lens that fills the space of the 18-135 in this kit, just get the body and save the money to get nicer accessories.

Update: The price of the bundle has increased, and I would strongly consider getting just the body or body + kit lens. The extra stuff was nice, but I would not have bought this kit at the current price ($100 ish more than the body+kit lens)

Everything came brand new and everything was correct. I love this camera, I used to have a Nikon but the switch to Canon was the best decision I have ever made.

I ordered this product from cameta camera and opted for a 3-day shipping so I can give this camera as a New year gift. the product didn't come one time. It came 10 days after the order date. The customer service reps were very rude and they probably need some training. I definitely would NOT GO BACK to this seller to buy anything else. Even the freebies that come with the camera are not good. Tripod is shaky and I probably would need to order better quality one. After reading the seller rating/reviews, I found out that other users have also had similar problems and had to deal with rude customer reps. I wish I had read them before :-(

I was long hesitating on which camera to buy. The differences in the specs between 5D and 550D were subtle, differences between this model and considered higher level 40/50D were slightly more. Overall, for a beginner photographer, as I am, the camera appeared to be very good one, providing all that I was looking for good control over the shooting setting, not bad optics (kit lens), good ccd size, nice metering and very good quality at high ISO levels. In my case video shooting was also important as we are expecting a baby. The tests went pretty well, both in still imaging and video. The only thing that I would perhaps note as negative is relatively long auto focus. In some cases it takes a while, so manual may be preferred choice.

We had a pretty good deal with the merchant, the whole package, that included stand, cleaning kit, memory card, and a bag, appeared to be very competitive. We have received everything within the promised date, not even the last day of the timespan. Everything was in a very good condition.

Pros: Everything was included as it said. Good Camera but slightly heavier that I thought it would be.

The 18-135mm Lens is good but it has its limits. Taking Close up shots are difficult. Might want to get a smaller lens if you are into close-ups.

Also, The UV filter lens were used.............. It had multiple small scratches on it. So I had to buy a new one and its all good now.

The SD card was actually class 10 so I was happy.

Battery is good, case is good, cleaning kit is ok.. but smells with "new" factory smell which is kinda bothersome at first.

Tripod is cheap stuff so its wobbly. But other then that, the camera and lens was a good purchase.

I hope this review will be helpful to others.

This is the best deal found on web, it has everything as described, the canon takes great pictures and is easy to use, i take it with me everywhere, and the spare battery last more time than the original, love to shoot by viewfinder instead fo using directview, manual focusing with the telephoto zoom lens is better. But if your looking to buy it for wildlife shooting or kids, is better to buy the kit that comes with the 55-250 mm zoons len, it has image stabilization system and works better when the object is quite far away from you or moving, if you buy this kit with the 75-300mm lens will have to program the continuous shooting to avoiding camera shake and blurry pictures. Very pleased with my Canon T3 camera. It came to me just as described. Takes beautiful, clear pictures. Have taken pictures in the sunshine, low light, action pictures and they have all turned out great. Still learning how to use the different features but am very pleased with the camera.

Sure, it's not perfect, but for the price, you simply cannot beat this. Pick up a couple of 8GB memorycards and you are good to go (they are cheap!).

Pluses:

-Optical Image Stabilizer

-HD!!!! (1920x1080i) Good Quality in daylight/normal light indoors

-SDHC cards (cheap and high capacity)

-DVD burner if you want to make Standard Def captures and burn for regular dvd playback. (can also be used to store HD content, but needs special players for playback)

-Battery Capacity is very good

-Nice LCD Screen

-Prerec, if activated, it continously records the last 3 seconds, so when you hit record, it will remember and store the previous 3 seconds as well. Good if you are a bit slow to start recording..

Minuses:

-A bit large and clumsy (partly due to inclusion of dvd burner and large capacity battery!)

-Noisy picture in low light situations

Note: Works well with PS3, if you have the 80GB version, stick the SDHC card in directly, if you own the 40GB version, buy a cheap USB adapter that supports SDHC.

Well worth the price and then some. I'm tempted to give it 5 stars due to price but the low light picture is not good enough and AVCHD is too annoying at this time.

You need a Blu-Ray player to play AVCHD. (You can use the camcorder to play the movies until the ps3 or blu-ray players prices drop.. or if new DVD players get the codex for AVCHD)

Over all I am quite happy. Once I get a Blu-ray player and a better PC to edit the video it will be great. But for now the picture is great and the remote that comes in the box makes using the camcorder as the player easy. I figure could wait for the prices to drop on blu-ray and better AVCHD editing to come out... but I might miss a couple of years of HD family movies so I'll deal with some inconvenience today for better video for tomorrow.

I have been playing with this camcorder for a day and I am impressed!! The image stabilizer makes my shots look like the camera was on a mount. After a few sec. of playing around with it or a few min. of reading the manual its a sinch to use. Very user friendly and definatly worth the money. I have previewed many other camcorders and this fits the bill.

The only down side is you have to buy SD cards and Miny disks. If it had an internal hard drive It would be an A++ But then again the price would be alot higher and there would be a lot of noise. This thing is SILENT! Its small and there are plenty of thing you can buy to go along with it. For the price and Arating you wont beet it!! PS.Get the 8GB card with it. You are going to buy it any way so why wate?

I've owned this item for 2 years now and it has been really great.

I use it to shoot music videos and the quality of the sequences shot outdoors is very good and the colours are quite nice.

The battery life is excellent. Very easy to edit in Final Cut Express software.

The only cons are:

The depth of field is a bit tricky and not great even when you do get it to work. You could probably buy a lens for this.

It shoots very grainy in low light and requires professional lighting after sundown.

You can't move the camera fast at (eg. to do a sweeping landscape shot)otherwise the images are grainy.

The D7000 and lenses are first class. The camera bag is too small, cheap and nasty and will not shut properly with all the goods in it. If the lens is attached to the camera it is a really tight fit.

Buy the camera and lenses together, the rest of the supplied materials get from your local camera shop.

Delivery was fast efficient and hassle free.

Update: been using this excellent camera for 7 months now, it is really a first class product, produces excellent photographs and is a pleasure to use as it has a simple menu and setting set-up. Recently purchased a seperate remote flash unit for it that compliments the camera and which works perfectly with the camera.

I did my research and looked at quite a few monitors for use with my camcorder that I could also use with my DSLR camera. While the Marshall monitors are very nice, they are far too expensive and they make you buy expensive adapters if you want to have different inputs. I looked at several Lilliput monitors and I noticed two things 1) the way their descriptions are worded on Amazon you are left wonder just what it is exactly that you are getting. 2) I also read that some people bought them and they had short lives or were DOA. Not good.

I took a hard look at Ikan's monitor products and saw this one and the 5 inch version of this one that have waveform monitor, vectorscope and rgb parade built in along with a whole list of other really nice features including DSLR scaling. This is also one of the few monitors I could find that actually has HDMI throughput (ie HDMI in AND HDMI out). This allows you to feed either another monitor for the production director to view or feed a capture device.

I am a professional when i comes to video and when I saw this model has a built in waveform monitor and vectorscope, I had to take an even closer look since I'm used to using a separate piece of test equipment for those purposes. This is going to make it really easy to calibrate the outputs of video cameras and my DSLR to ensure perfect color match between the two cams and perfect exposure every time.

I am using a Sony NEX-VG-30H camcorder with this and occasionally a Nikon D3200 DSLR camera with this monitor.

The Pros: Vectorscope, waveform monitor and video monitor (and lots of other cool helpful features) all built into one piece of really nice equipment. ¼-20 mounting holes to mount to an articulated arm or to your tripod and even comes with a hotshoe adapter to mount it to your camera/camcorder hotshoe adapter, which I would personally not do because of the weight of the monitor. The kit also comes packed in what appears to be a fairly sturdy somewhat heavy duty aluminum-framed padded case. Nice.

The Cons: The battery, in this case, is HUGE but that's the extra price you pay for portability. Don't let that deter you unless a little extra weight is a problem. The battery charger this kit comes with took the better part of 12 hours to charge the battery! This unit comes with two ac 12vdc adapters one for use with the charger and one for use with the monitor. The directions do not tell you which one is which. The two ac adapters are interchangeable and it may be that the battery took a long time to charge because I used the smaller of the two adapters on the charger. I am planning on buying the official Sony L-battery charger to replace the cheap (in my opinion) charger this kit comes with.

Nikon DK-21 Rubber Eyecup Nikon Digital SLR Cameras

This is a Nikon product D80 owners shouldn't need to replace but inevitably they will. After the first few times it fell off my camera and I put it back on I intentionally wiggled it around in order to get an idea of why it would fall off and what I could do to prevent this happening. I never did figure it out, and finally it fell off on a forest hike and that was that. Luckily these are unbelievably cheap (for Nikon), so buying 3 and keeping them in the camera bag is not that big a deal.

I still have the eyecup that came with my D300; it fits snugly and has never fallen off. I'm happy to know that a replacement is available for only five dollars. It does a good job of keeping my eyeglasses from getting scratched on the harder plastic of the camera body, and it does keep out some of the light that would otherwise creep in from the side and make framing photos less easy. This is a good, general-purpose rubber eyecup for keeping on the camera all the time.

Little upset that I ordered this for my D40, and it doesn't fit my D40 as advertised. The bottom of my view finder is covered with the eyecup frame because it doesn't slide all of the way down.

If it fit, I think it would be great.

While the description states this item will fit the Nikon D40, it does not. The eyecup slips over the viewer, and will not slide down completely. This is not made for the D40. Looking at other Camera sites, the proper eyecup for the D40 appears to be the DK-16. I will be returning this item.

Canon PowerShot SX50 HS Digital Camera 32GB Package 6

I have only ever taken pictures with my cell phone and those cardboard wind up cameras from the drugstore. I am the historian of a local club, and this camera was purchased because of that. I have been wanting to get a digital camera for some time, and was a little hesistant to make this much of an investment, but I took a chance and ended up loving it. I haven't been able to give it a real go 'round, but so far, it takes crystal clear photos (IMO, but I'm no pro, lol) and the interface, while a little confusing at first, is really easy to navigate. Believe it or not, I read the get started manual AND the Advanced manual on the disc included from beginning to end, and it's very informative. It does assume you already know what some terms mean, though, so be prepared to look outside the manual if you are a true beginner with anything but a simple point-and-shoot.

As far as the bundle, I've not tried everything out yet, but the extra battery was an awesome inclusion. I'm thinking I'll probably go through battery life fairly quickly when I pull it out for meetups. The full size tripod seems sturdy and it's easy to use. The table top tripod is super cute. The little tripod, screen protectors, swabs and lens fluid come in a little separate package (like a kit) and the lens fluid leaked all over the inside of the bag. Thank goodness everything in there was wrapped in plastic. The bottle was only half full out of the box, but I'm not all that upset by it since it didn't get out of the bag the little kit came in. The wallet is neat-o, and the memory card does the trick. The bag is just about the perfect size, but don't expect to put anything in the main compartment except the camera and strap, especially if you are going to be adding a lens hood or filters to the camera that stay on all the time. The side compartments fit the memory card reader, microfiber cloth, swabs, extra battery (while stored in the wall charger) and the back mesh pocket holds my mini tripod. I might have to get a bigger bag, but for now it holds everything. I placed an order for this projector, and had and email from the sellers website the order has been canceled on the same night, a week later I find in my bank account that I was still charged for this item. I contacted them with 4 emails but with no clear answer. I contacted Amazon.com and was told by them I can only contact the seller and wait PATIENTLY for their action.

Personally, I wouldn't recommend anybody to buy from this seller. Probably if you paid an extra $20 you will be definitely buying a piece of your own mind!!
